Pros:

Hotel molto curato, camera spaziosa e servizio impeccabile.

Cons:

Nice contrast to the busyness of Shinjuku area. Good for a short stay.
Pros:

Close to gardens and tower on 1 side and close to shops and restaurants on the other.
Also 2 metro stations close by.
The book nooks on each floor were cute.

Cons:

Triple room a bit small especially with luggage. But fine for a short stay.

6-night stay at Shiba Park: Wonderful hotel!
Pros:

The rooms are on the smaller side (21sqm / 226sq ft), which is worth knowing ahead of time, but they were clean and comfortable, and the beds were great. As an eco-friendly hotel, housekeeping only cleans every other day - a nice touch for anyone conscious about sustainability, and the rooms still felt well maintained throughout our stay. The location is very convenient, just close to the train station and many convenience stores.

What really made this stay memorable was the service. My mom had an incident while we were out on a tour, and the staff went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and well taken care of afterward - it meant a lot to us.

A couple of staff members deserve a special mention. Mr. Kosaka was wonderful - he helped us with everything from the restaurant to the lobby to our luggage, always with a smile (and his hair was always perfect too!). Mr. Makoto at breakfast stood out for his attentiveness - he was incredibly polite, anticipated our needs before we even asked, and even made the effort to learn a few Spanish phrases to connect with us. It’s these small, genuine gestures that really elevate a stay, and his warmth and professionalism made breakfast one of the highlights of our mornings. Mr. Makoto was very professional and attentive.

Breakfast itself offered a good mix of Western and Japanese dishes, good quality throughout, though it did get a little repetitive by the end of 6 nights. The overall atmosphere of the hotel is classic yet elegant, and everything felt spotless throughout our stay.

Overall, a great stay with truly outstanding service. Highly recommend!

Old school elegance with Japanese culture.
Pros:

Clean and the interior design is beautiful!

Cons:

Factory like staff and breakfast can be improved. The breakfast areas brings food in small portions at a time and guests are almost dashing for the last few, then they refill but in small portions and you have to queue constantly.

Highly recommended, would stay again
Pros:

We stayed in August 2026, a family of 6 (2 adults, 2 teenagers and 2 10-year olds). We booked 2 triple rooms with breakfast. The rooms were average size but there was room for opening our luggage. There were 3 beds that were all very comfortable and spacious with new linen and sleepware. The cosmetics and amenities (coffee maker, fridge, hair dryer) were also excellent. We had breakfast at the hotel as well that was a combination of western and japanese food and it was indeed very good, with a big variety and excellent fresh fruit among other things. The location is near the Tokyo Tower and a 25 minute walk to Ginza which for us was ideal. There are 2 train stations just a 5-minute walk that connect the area easily to the main sites of Tokyo. There is a family mart just a few metres away and the hotel is tucked in a quiet street. The library aspect of the hotel is amazing and we did take the opportunity to browse through the vast number of books, that were also available on all floors. There is a washer drier room as well that can be very useful and you get unlimited juice, coffee and tea along with nuts and dried fruit at all times at the reception. Staff were excellent, we were able upon check-out to leave our luggage at the hotel until the afternoon when we had to go to the airport. Overall, i would definitely stay here again.
