Det var kort vei til Old trafford
Ble så utrolig skuffet da den øl bøtta jeg hadde bestilt i anledning min manns 60 års dag aldri dukket opp. Å det verste var at resepsjonisten betvile når jeg sa at vi ikke hadde fått noe, nesten anklaget oss for å ha tatt det uten at vi hadde sett noe til ølet. Fikk beskjed senere den kvelden at vi hadde rett, å da måtte jeg si at det visste jeg.
De kommer senere opp med et fat med to kakebiter og noen bær som plaster på såret, men da hadde vi lagt oss. Ble også tilbydd gratis frokost, men den var ikke mye å skryte av så det takket vi nei til.
Kommer nok ikke til å booke dette hotellet igjen.

Unfortunately, the water went off for about four hours and then came on again at 2 am which resulted in a disturbed night sleep.
Staff very helpful
Breakfast was fantastic. Staff were always welcoming and attentive. The bed was incredibly comfortable and there was a FULLY equipped bathroom. At the entrance it was nice to see how the rooms are getting refurbished going forward.
Lack of parking during our stay.
The cooked buffet style breakfast was very good....free parking was a bonus....location for us was good too.
On the morning of heading upto Manchester I got a message off the hotel to review my stay & hope it was going well etc....this made me think have I booked the wrong dates for our stay....I hadn't after checking....but why send me a review request before we'd arrive is beyond me....the hotel looked ok from the outside & in the lobby/bar/reception/restaurant areas...but unfortunately the room was very dated/tired/dirty looking....we stayed in room 431 & felt like we'd arrived in the year 1980...the sofa bed was made up for us...but it sloped downwards from the foot of the bed to the headboard about 2ft....so had to try & level it out using bits of the sofa......very uncomfortable.....the units looked like they'd collapse at any moment....some electric sockets didn't work....the hot tap in the bathroom was scolding hot...so couldn't use....not very family friendly for a family room!.....we were told breakfast was served 7am Saturday but it was actually 7.30am....worth bearing this in mind if you need to get up early & be somewhere....like we did....at breakfast the juices wouldn't pour out of the dispensers....the staff hadn't took off the cellophane covers...so we did....juice went everywhere....plenty of staff but not doing their jobs......we wouldn't stay there again purely as there's no way this is a 8/10 rated hotel.
The location is magnificent for the Salford Quays area of the city and getting there by tram is easy. The lady on reception was very helpful and efficient when i checked in and again when i checked out. I had a pleasant view of the waterside from my room. The room was quiet and comfortable.
It was expensive on the one night that I stayed (a Saturday). I did know that when I booked. I chose to pay a premium price to stay there. It was a busy weekend with a Rugby League final on at Old Trafford, a Trance Music Festival at the nearby O2 Victoria Warehouse and the Manchester Half Marathon on the Sunday morning.
