Over priced for the facilities offered
Pros:

Comfortable bed, good breakfast, exceptional help from Simon and very good evening meal

Cons:

Bad service on Saturday (not open for breakfast until 9, impractical room and poor access to the bedrooms

Excellent stay
Pros:

Great place to stay.
My Uncle stays here alot when he is over from Scotland so as we were going to Anfield for a concert this was a perfect place to stay outside of Liverpool, with only a 30 min drive after.
Our room was very clean and good size, bed very comfy, quick check in.
Staff very friendly and food excellent
Would stay again :)

Comfortable, convenient, friendly staff. Green Lodge seems a safe bet in this area!
Pros:

Good location, quiet residential area but short walk to station, shops, golf course, beach and nature walks. Spacious double room (4) exceeded expectations. Very large and bright room on building corner.

Cons:

Food looked expensive on a predictable pub menu of the usual burgers, lasagne, curry, F&C, so didn’t eat there. But prices are probably in-line to be fair, everywhere seems expensive this year!

Pros:

Great location. Comfortable, light room. Really helpful member of staff greeted us. Good advice about walks

Really pleasant stay, great people, charming hotel and easy to find.
Pros:

A charming hotel. The staff were all friendly, this old hotel was really comfortable, clean and welcoming. We loved it, and will more than probably return. We particularly were impressed with the guy who always served us breakfast... nothing was too much trouble and actually, all the staff were like that.

Cons:

Prices in the restaurant for our evening meal were on the high side, but we had a nice meal in comfortable surroundings. Nothing else to mention, I guess the price of meals is a sign of the times everywhere now.

Our stay
Pros:

Good facilities, clean, good central location near station. Majority of staff pleasant and helpful .

Cons:

Difficult to contact. Hate AI booking. Impossible to get a human on phone!!
Had invited friends for dinner on 1st night and manageress very abrupt and positively hurried us out of bar before 10pm with no chance for coffee! Not a good hostess!
