Rudy and Johnny made our stay an experience we’ll never forget! Johnny gave us an incredible historical tour of the Emily Morgan Hotel (formerly the Medical Arts Building), sharing fascinating stories about the building’s history along with his own experiences and those of past guests. They were both incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful throughout our stay. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience—10/10, highly recommend!
I like that it was close to the river walk 💕
That the bath tubs are a little
slippery. And there is no free breakfast and free parking. If all that was included it would have been the cherry on the ice cream to sum it up.

Parking costs and there was not a swimming pool which I anticipated.
Room 802...a room on the 'Alamo side' of building was unavailable.
Additional blankets for the bed.

Great location for our events
Rudy was warm and inviting from the moment we set foot in the lobby. The restaurant dinner staff was good and so was the food. The room itself was beautiful and the location was great! Definitely come to this place with your family/friends for a little getaway and enjoy the Alamo and the Rivertown Mall!
The only thing I was a little perturbed by was this homeless man who approached us from across the street, trying to convince us that parking is free if we parked to the parking lot next to ours. He then asked us if we had money for his meal. He tried this with several other guests trying to get their stuff together. It startled a few as he comes from out of nowhere. Definitely would need someone to guard the parking lot.
That it is haunted.
Was assured view of fireworks. Did not see it well. No pool!?!?!? Valet left a bit to be desired. Asked for fresh bedsheets and they were left in room not made.
