across the street from the alamo
furniture seemed old
Breakfast was not very good. Eggs were cold, food was only passable. It was not worth the price of $20! The location of Hotel was great. Hotel was nicely decorated and front desk staff were friendly and very helpful.
Better Breakfast with food that should be warm being warm! Muffins had no taste even they looked good. Think they were too many days old to be put out again for people to eat.
Room was comfortable and a reasonable size.
The breakfast was expensive. Provided cereal but no fresh milk.
L’accueil du personnel, l’emplacement parfait
Vétuste, manque de ménage
CHEERS to the Emily Morgan, and especially Johnny, for his unmatched hospitality, Keep an eye on those ghosts!!
Johnny at front desk was the best. Give him a raise!!!
The Emily Morgan is a beautiful hotel right across the street from the Alamo. Rudy at the front desk provided great customer service. He was professional, efficient, and friendly. Room 405 was clean and it had a nice view of the Alamo through the trees. The room had a mini-fridge and coffee station. There were two outlets on the lamp between the beds. The bathroom featured a tub/shower combo. The floor of the tub/shower was slippery but there was a grab bar on the wall for safety. The hotel had a restaurant onsite and they offered a limited room service menu. Room rate was very reasonable. Valet parking was a little expensive but it was very efficient. They provided great service upon checking in and there was very little wait time upon checking out.
Location
Except for one employee, staff not especially engaged or inviting.
Comfortable beds. Staff was nice . Rooms were clean and bathrooms stocked.
Inconvenience of parking
Johny Monica and the complete staff were amazing
Staff were outstanding
AC was hard to regulate. It was either hot or too cold.
The staff we're all amazing. Everybody went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. It was raining when we arrived and the gentleman at the front desk offered us an umbrella so we could walk over to the Alamo.
We loved that it was right beside the Alamo and that everything was in walkable distance.
Valet was of dingy... they lost our car (attached our car keys to another guest's room as I understand it) they found it without any problems so no harm no foul.
The pool was also closed. We have kids so that was pretty important to us and when we called the book they said they had a pool. They didn't mention that it was down for maintenance. That was kind of disappointing especially since it was raining.
