I pass through Sacramento a few times a year and always stay at this hotel. It's no-frills, but it's clean, quiet, and the breakfast is ok. For the cost (I am always solo and stay in a basic room, so YMMV) I find it's a good deal, and it's easy to get to the freeway. Also, In-N-Out next door, if you like that sort of thing.

Room was clean and beds clean and made well. Nice pool was clean I felt like my car was safe in the parking lot. Everything was clean and tidy EXCEPT for the floors. They are swept and no dust visible but very dirty. Your socks/feet will be black if you do not wear shoes in the room. Me and my daughter and daughter’s friends have stayed there three years in a row because it’s a perfect location for our yearly concert. We go to at CalExpo because it has In-N-Out in the parking lot. But the floors are very, very dirty so we always bring flip-flops or Crocs to put on when we’re walking around in the room. This past weekend, we stayed there and now we understood why the floors are so dirty. We walked by a housekeeper had the mop on the ground side walk outside the door. As we made our trip back to our room she had the stick with a what look like a dish scrubber on a flat handle handled dry mop using a spray bottle to like to spot mop the floor. Other than that lobby and staff are very nice! Breakfast is a decent breakfast for a hotel. Will and did accommodate me as a Diamond member. Thank you La Quinta See you next year.
Clean facilities w/easy access to major streets & freeway. Room had major & modern upgrades. Breakfast was excellent & staff was very friendly & personable.

The hotel was clean, the staff was very friendly. It was quiet and there were plenty of places to eat very close by ( I recommend the 323 taco stand directly across the street from the hotel). They have great coffee in the morning and waffles 🧇 . All in all it is a good hotel and a safe place to stay.
