Outstanding.
Pros:

Spotless. Staff were great. Food was outstanding although my steak was more medium/well than medium rare.
We had an issue via booking.com but the staff at the hotel dealt with it superbly well.

Cons:

Nothing. It was 10/10.

Pros:

Property was beautiful a bit of language barrier with food and drink on the Thursday no turn down on Thursday nite, but there was on Friday, pool was fantastic, a bit if noise during the day ( building) could have been told beforehand, but we enjoyed our stay

More choice of food in pub grub area, but the actual food was great

Happy but will not take same room again due to noise levels

Lovely stay, great hotel
Pros:

It was close to the Mardyke, the hotel was airy and clean with a gorgeous terrace and restaurant. Pretty good food and very good service.

Cons:

The drilling work happening on the floor above that was very noisy and the lack of affordable breakfast. Breakfast should be included in the roommate as Eur26 per head is absurd. Also 3 people booked into a room should mean 3 glasses, cups, robes etc but that was only achieved on the last day.

Schönes Hotel in guter Lage
Pros:

Das Hotel liegt in ruhiger Lage mit ca. 10-15 Min. Spaziergang in die lebhafte Innenstadt. Es gibt ein Parkhaus mit ausreichend Parkplätzen. Das Hotel macht einen stilvollen Eindruck und ist schön eingerichtet. Die Zimmer waren geräumig und man konnte die Fenster öffnen. Das grosse Bad verfügte über ein Nachtlicht mit Bewegungsmelder, was sehr praktisch ist und ich so noch nirgends gesehen habe. Ausserdem hatte es eine Dusche und eine separate Badewanne. Es gab genügend Wasser im Zimmer. Das Frühstück bot eine kleine, aber gute Auswahl am Büffet mit Obst, Chiapudding, Käse, verschiedene Brotsorten etc. Ausserdem konnte man Eierspeisen bestellen. Das Essen im Bar-Restaurant war alles in allem sehr gut und das Ambiente auf der Terrasse sehr schön. Das dortige Personal war sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Der Blue Cheese Salat mit Walnüssen war sehr lecker. Auch die Seafood Chowder ist zu empfehlen. Das Curry war ebenfalls sehr gut.

Cons:

Bei der etwas früheren Ankunft war eines von zwei Zimmern fertig. Beim anderen hiess es, dass es um 16:00 Uhr bereit wäre. Wir kamen um 16:30 Uhr wieder und es war noch immer nicht fertig. Man hat uns jedoch einen Gutschein für Getränke in der Lobby gegeben. Überall im Hotel sind Teppiche, was mit Rollkoffern sehr unpraktisch ist. Im Zimmer ist zu bemängeln, dass die Klimaanlage nicht regulierbar war. Es gibt Daunendecken, die im Winter sicher wundervoll sind. Im Sommer aber viel zu heiss. In der Dusche gibt es einen festinstallierten Duschkopf, der für Frauen nur mässig praktisch ist. Auch das Duschgel riecht sehr maskulin. Das Frühstück ist mit 16 Euro (Büffet) und 26 Euro (plus Eierspeisen) sehr teuer. Gerade die 10 Euro Aufpreis sind nicht gerechtfertigt. Die pochierten Eier waren Glückssache. Regelmässig war eines davon hartgekocht. Der Herr mit Anzug und Schnauzer beim Frühstück ist sehr ruppig und schmeisst einem z.B. die Speisekarten auf den Tisch. Die Ramen im Bar-Restaurant sollten überdacht werden. Hat geschmacklich nichts mit japanischen Ramen zu tun und anstatt der beschriebenen Udon Nudeln, kamen gewöhnliche Ramen Nudeln.

Pros:

Mooi gelegen hotel aan de rivier met ruime parkeergarage ernaast waar ook de fietsen prima kunnen staan.
Prima bedden en vriendelijk personeel

Cons:

De eerste nacht werkte de airco in de kamer niet waardoor het benauwd en warm was. Dat werd de volgende dag prima opgelost doordat we naar een andere kamer mochten verhuizen. Maar ook daar koelde de airco niet voldoende en bleken we ook geen koffiezetapparaat meer te hebben wat wel bij de gekozen kamer had gehoord.
