From start to finish, our experience was amazing. We cannot give enough praise to the hotel and its staff for a wonderful stay and experience.
*ROOM*
As Diamond Elite guests, we were given a superb upgrade to a two story suite and it was stunning. Most importantly, a super comfy bed and decent air conditioning. We were on the 18th floor with a balcony offering stunning views across the city. The room was well appointed with two TVs, mini-bar/fridge and a Nespresso machine. The bathroom had a lovely shower and was immaculate throughout.
*Location*
Easy to reach from the airport (5 miles) and not too far to walk to the centre. Ubers are cheap and available everywhere meaning everything is within easy reach.
*Staff*
Wow, amazing and lovely people throughout. We especially appreciated the Club Lounge staff, notably Flavia and Carolina.
*Housekeeping*
The main service was excellent and our room was immaculate and clean. The evening turndown service was a little hit and miss though.
*Food/Drinks*
We ate in the hotel restaurant a couple of times and the food was top quality. There is a good selection of reasonably priced wines, too. The quality of the drinks and snacks in the Club Lounge were first class. The only criticism is that the Club Lounge "Happy Hour" only operated from 5-7pm, which meant that was the only time you could have a glass of wine there. Longer Club Lounge "Happy Hour" times would be a big plus.
Overall, a truly wonderful experience. We look forward to a return visit in the future.
Lovely hotel, very attentive staff. My room was quiet, clean and had amazing views over Lisbon and the river.
I spent the initial part of a 16 day Spain/ Portugal trip at the Inter Continental Hotel in Lisbon. OUTSTANDING HOHEL! Great choice. The hotel is well located, the staff quite helpful, the rooms outstanding.
I have stayed at many Inter Continental Hotels around the world and their facility in Lisbon measures well against any of them. Terrific service. The on desk was quite effecient, the concierge very helpful, the rooms outstanding .
What a big disappointment from our last stay 2 years ago. This was our third stay and my wife booked this thru her Chase Sapphire rewards. Check in was not great until my wife mentioned that one of the Management staff had contacted her about our arrival and then suddenly we were told our room was cleaned but needed to be "inspected". We were asked to sit in the lobby and she would come and get us when the room was ready. Forty minutes later, my wife gets a phone call from another staff
person that our room was ready. The young lady was still at the front desk-obviously she did not come over.
Breakfast was horrible. Three different people. One brought us tea, I had to track someone down to order an omelet which took over thirty minutes to arrive after asking a second time where my food was. The third person never came back with more hot water for another cup of tea. The good news is that I could not have breakfast the next morning since I had an early flight.
They need to step up their service levels. Room service was very efficient. It appears to me that this has become a convention hotel.
Ok
In goede gedeelte van de stad

Older hotel --has a 1970's vibe to it. Decent location, but not perfect--a bit of a walk. Breakfast was huge and good, as was the service. The room was dated and the hotel needs to be refurbished probably, but was a nice stay.
The location, the staff are amazing and service was very good
The maintenance for the hotel wasn't very good and up to a 5 stars hotel, we had repeated issues with the safes in the rooms, but that being said, the hotel staff took care of that issue and changed our safes. Food quality should be a better for a 5 stars hotel.
the towel is too old
It was a wonderful stay. The best part is that they accomodated and dealt with a family with little kids really well. I would like to name Ms Maria the lady I ramdomly walked to asking for help - really really obliged and the lady manager in the the morning and the lady incharge at the conceirge, and the gentlmen from the conceirge team at the main entrance, Annebela at reservation, Gonzales at the fron desk, the lady who checked us out, were all just so nice and helpful, that made our stay truly pleasant. The location is brilliant, close to everything. We had an excellent stay.
True 5 star experience
Nothing
Our room (818) was quiet, newly renovated in a modern yet comfortable fashion and kept immaculately clean. Part of our stay was with a tour group, some of which had rooms that were sorely in need of renovation so inquire. The hotel is just across the street from Eduardo park and Estufa Fria, a truly lovely and peaceful botanic garden with lake and wildlife views (turtles, swans, peacocks). Many sites are about 20-30 minutes walk but Uber is very reasonable. The breakfast buffet is very comprehensive yet they also offer made to order omelets. Excellent service all around. We would definitely stay here again.
