Great hotel. Staff is superfriendly (all of them) and facilities are good. If you have a long lay-over in Singapore, definitely recommend!
All the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Especially Sunil and Chandru. As we were conducting a course here, they made it a condusive experience.

It's a great place for a staycation if you want to getaway without leaving the country. Lots of local food nearby and very laid back. Unfortunately the boardwalk was closed for maintenance but it was still a nice walk to the beach.
The staff are great, giving a special shout out to the Ben & Lyn at the Club Lounge, Sufian at the recep counter for helping with the late check out and the housekeeping team for the nice surprise in decorating the room.
Close to eating outlets and activities. Shuttle service was convenient. Quite area and pleasure to walk about in the evening.
Would not recommend staying here. Especially if you are with kids / family and expect high quality and predictable service.
Additionally the location while in Changi village is in the industrial side without much around.
We arrived early and were told that our rooms were still being made and to come back at 1.30pm (2pm check in). Came back at 2.30pm and room still wasn’t ready. After creating a fuss they managed to get one room available.
Following this found the ready room has a broken door. To get this fix I had to goto reception twice as phones in rooms don’t work. Finally engineering came at 4pm and they fixed and cleaned bathroom by 5.30pm.
All requests like getting an extra towel or getting concierge are not attended to in timely fashion.
Also our room on 3rd floor had a hotel lobby area just outside so very limited privacy.
I knew the hotel has 4 star on Google which is usually my threshold to give a place a go if good value for money which this seemed to be. However this place was definitely not 4 star worthy.

The maintenance staff provided excellent service and quickly fixed the clogged sink.
Village Hotel Changi is a great place for a long layover stay in Singapore Not too far from airport very helpful staff when we arrived after midnight
Receptionist Seri was so kind and also efficient.
Room good size comfortable beds. Great to have our favourite tea in the room Dilmah !

There's only one thing that's not perfect for me: the bus shuttle service. I booked 8am and went out to ask the driver at 7:55 and the driver informed me that it was moving at 8am. I went back into the lobby and at exactly 8:01 a.m., the driver left without a message or notice
Have a very good experience dining here. These both staff who are Ben and Lynn are friendly and always approach us when we need assistance.
Great charming hotel. Doing a little staycation and I treated myself to the lounge access. Absolutely worth it as was given amazing service by Ben and Lynn. Food was good too but really it was the service that stood out. They were friendly and helpful without being disruptive. Really made the lounge experience a nice one
Convenient location for Singapore layover with two pools, a breakfast buffet on offer, walk next does to hawker restaurants for a meal and complimentary shuttle to airport
Overall clean and tidy, but well worn and a little dated with dents and chips in the bathroom sink and wooden trims
Spacious room ,clean hotel with plenty amenities and friendly staff. Helpful in getting me a taxi to the airport before 5 am
