Prima hotel met tuin en vriendelijk personeel
Pros:

Het hotel ligt in een mooie rustige wijk en heeft een binnentuin. Het personeel is heel vriendelijk. Het ontbijt is goed; de ontbijtruimte is wat krap maar omdat het mooi weer was konden we heerlijk buiten zitten. De tuin is 's avonds ook open zodat je met je eigen drankje daar nog even rustig kan zitten. Wij liepen in 20/25 minuten naar het centrum maar er gaan ook bussen. Oxford is een leuke stad.

Cons:

Niets.
De kamer is wat gedateerd maar het is schoon. Het bed is typisch Engels (dat bleek achteraf overal zo te zijn. ;-) ) ... te smal naar onze zin (140/150 cm) maar desondanks wel goed geslapen.

Liebevolle Hotelunterkunft bei der es an nichts fehlt.
Pros:

Wir waren nur für zwei Nächte in Oxford auf der Durchreise, aber dieses kleine Hotel war wundervoll. Das Familienzimmer war sehr gepflegt und sehr gut ausgestattet. Kühlschrank, Kaffeemaschine & Wasserkocher. Dazu ein paar kostenlose Drinks und Cookies. Das Frühstück war im Vergleich zu vielen anderen Hotels auch ausgezeichnet. Von ganz vielen frischen Früchten, über Müsli bis hin zu klassisch englischen Gerichten war alles dabei. Auch das Personal war super nett. Besonders hat uns der liebevoll gestaltete Garten mit ganz vielen Sitzgelegenheiten gefallen und dank gutem Wetter haben wir hier auch einige Stunden zwischen den Sightseeingtouren verbracht.
Besonders fanden wir auch den Monitor mit immer aktuellen Busfahrplan. Zudem gibt es eine Auswahl an Büchern und Spielen.

Auch wenn die Lage mit 25 Min Fußweg zum Zentrum etwas abgelegen ist, würden wir jederzeit wieder hier übernachten.

Good place for Oxford.
Pros:

The hotel was perfectly suited for our needs as we were going to the Cherwell Boathouse.

The room was clean and well fitted with quality towels and coffee.

Breakfast was very good, in a most pleasant conservatory, with plenty of choice.

Pros:

Nice quiet location, although a 20 - 30 minute walk into town. North Parade within easy walking distance. Good market there on the Saturday morning we were there.
The breakfast room is quite small, particularly if everyone comes down at a similar time, but yhe selection of food was great. Very comfortable room overlooking the garden. Shower was ok but not exceptional

Pros:

Room was big, with lots of spaces for everything you need and beautifully decorated. Our view was the yard and trees, so lovely to sit and look outside. It was clean and comfortable, mini fridge was very helpful and we appreciated the welcome treats. It was walking distance to the city, but also very close to bus stations. Breakfast was great, lots of options and it was really nice to sit outside. Staff were helpful and polite. Will definitely recommend and visit again!

A lovely hotel, friendly staff, great room and facilities.
Pros:

Great location and really handy that parking was available. The staff were super friendly and very responsive when replying to emails. Good selection of food available for breakfast and great to see gluten free options, too. The room was lovely and the ensuite had a great shower.

Cons:

There wasn't anything we didn't like.

We loved this hotel, and would definitely want to stay there again.
Pros:

The hotel is a lovely old house with lots of character. Our bedroom was spacious with a large en-suite shower room, and the beds were very comfortable. It was very quiet at night. Breakfast was served in the conservatory, or you could eat out in the garden. There was plenty to choose from including cereals, fruit, yoghurts and pastries, as well as scrambled eggs, sausages, hash browns and baked beans. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Meh, uncomfortable bed, hot room, breakfast starting at 8. Don’t bother.
Pros:

Manager called to confirm booking, hotel was clean.

Cons:

Reception closed at 6pm, opened at 8am so no chance to use that.
Breakfast started at 8 apparently, with a delay of 30 mins or more for hot food, making the included breakfast impossible to actually have, who is going to be in Oxford at 8:45 to have breakfast at a hotel?!

The bed was very small, exceptionally uncomfortable and very very hot room.

Wouldn’t suggest you stay here.

Gut-aber nicht sehr gut!

Cons:

Handtücher nicht sauber. Bei zweitägigem Aufenthalt wurden der Papierkorb und die duschvorlage nicht gewechselt. Das Hotel ist schön, die Ausstattung aber sehr alt.der Teppichboden blockierte die zimmertüre, die sich nur mit Kraftaufwand öffnen ließ. Das Frühstück war erst ab 8 Uhr -für mich wegen Arbeitstermin zu spät.sehr reichlich war die Ausstattung der Angebote - Tee , Kaffee, usw. Im Zimmer-deutlich besser als in vielen Hotels.
