JW Marriott New Orleans

Direkte Lage an der Canal Street, alle Sehenswürdigkeiten und die lebhafte Bourbon Street (gegenüber vom Hotel) sind in kurzer Zeit fußmäßig erreichbar. (Unserer Meinung nach auf jeden Fall besser, als direkt auf der Bourbon Street zu wohnen). Straßenbahn (Streetcars) vor dem Hotel. Zimmer (wir hatten ein Exekutive Eckzimmer) sehr geräumig mit toller Aussicht. Frühstück (Exekutive Lounge) haben wir vor Ort gebucht und beträgt US/D 60 für 2 Personen pro Tag, wobei nachmittags (ab 17:30 Uhr) kleine warme Speisen, Salat und Snacks sowie Getränke in diesem Paket inkludiert sind. Hotel gab uns Gutscheine (bei uns 30 Dollar pro Tag) für Aktivitäten/Ausflüge, die bei Buchung im Hotel eingelöst werden konnten (teilweise nach Abzug günstiger als bei Vorausbuchung bei herkömmlichen Anbietern). Freundlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft der Angestellten des Hotels ist hervorragend.

Spacious room. Clean with nice bathroom products.

Loved the location. Walking distance from almost everything. If we didn't walk, our destination was a short uber less than $15 dollars. You can step out of the back entrance of the hotel and you're right on Canal Street. It was super safe. Keycard entry into the hotel and elevators. Staff was great and pleasant! The food at the hotel bar was really good and so were the drinks! The doormen were so friendly and welcoming.

Bruno is absolutely amazing and he accommodated us at the very last minute with rooms and service. Justin was also spectacular. We truly appreciate them stepping in. Will definitely be back!

Very nice

The JW is one of my favorite hotels. As we are a Tulane family, we stay there a lot. LOVE the doormen-they are hysterical, friendly and the nicest people.
The gym however was disappointing this last time. One half barely had a/c. The 2 Peloton bikes did not work: the seat on one would not stay up (liability for sure) and its pedals were not aligned, the other was not calibrated. I hope they take care of this ASAP as we are due back in a week.

5 nights in the JW Marriott New Orleans on Canal St the edge of the French Quarter close to Bourbon St and a short walk to most things. Room was nice, comfortable, small bathroom but marble finishings. Staff was always friendly. Felt the property fell short with the JW Exec Lounge had a very basic breakfast setup - have had better ones from a Residence Inn. Also no coffee shop in the building but short walk outside to others. We would try the full Marriott if in area.

I had a really good time and was very pleased with my stay. Every request was met with all efforts to accommodate and in a timely manner. I specifically wanted to write a review about Bruno, the gentleman at the front desk as I was greeted. His smile was welcoming, he was polite, helpful, patient and when he wasn’t sure of the answer, he seemed happy to inquire and let me know. All of the front desk agents were great and ever so gracious but Bruno is the inspiration for this review.

Louis was very helpful. He assisted with getting our car in a timely fashion. He was very accommodating and very helpful!!! Thanks for your amazing customer service Louis!!!

Everything about the hotel rates a 5 but the behavior of the bartender allowing a “charity” vendor in to request money makes me think it’s far less quality than I thought. The man entered, had a discussion with the bartender who approved him being there and proceded to interrupt everyone in the bar and adjacent seating area. When he had hit on everyone he went back to the bartender, thanked him and off he went. I have no idea if the man actually had identification with charity, I just wanted him away from us as he was sweaty and immediately seated himself showing his basket of chips, peanuts and M&M’s in exchange for a donation. Management needs to bring the staff together to make changes to ensure the safety of the guests.

The service provided was excellent. De'Shannon was very helpful, courteous and upbeat.

The staff at the hotel were excellent- very friendly and helpful. I will definitely stay here again in any future visits to New Orleans!

JW Marriott New Orleans, This was my second visit within two months. I visited in April and return for my birthday in June. As always, it was a great stay met all needs. After departing I left my Suit Jacket by accident. After contacting JW a couple of times I was put in contact with loss prevention. Tamiko, went well and above of her job to assist with me reacquiring my item. She kept me calm, and reassured me that she would find it and she did. After speaking with her and going through all the formalities I had my item with in 5 days. Thank you JW, for all that you do. See you in December to bring in the New Year three times in one year.

Great location within walking distance of all the major attractions, yet not in the center of the party scene. The room was great and comfortable, and the staff was friendly and accommodating.

Alfred Carter was exceptional! He was friendly and efficient!
