Pros:

Otelin konumu mükemmel. Kahvaltı gayet geniş açık büfe ve lezzetli idi. Yumurta opsiyonları iyiydi.
Odaların temizliği gayet iyiydi. Özellikle odamızı hergün temizleyen hanımefendi çok ilgiliydi, çok yardımcı oldu.

Cons:

Bizim gibi balkonlu ve şezlongu olan odaya, güneşlenirken kullanmak üzere havlu bırakılabilir. Bizim gidip havuzun yanından almamız gerekmemeli.

Manager threatened to call the police on me - Aggressive, rude staff only because I wanted to pay with my Amex

The Front Office Manager Adrien Fortier at Le Méridien Nice threatened to call the police on me — a paying guest — because I recorded his employee's aggressive behavior which he said was a felony and I would be arrested and fined 4500 euros. I easily looked this up and found it not to be true and when I told him it wasn't illegal, he said he would call the cops right now. It's a wildly disproportionate response to a guest raising a legitimate concern.

What happened: During check-in, front desk worker Hind said they couldn't process my American Express card by Apple Pay. I tried to explain that you can indeed do it by manually entering the numbers — something I've done at dozens of other Marriott properties — but she refused to listen or even attempt it. She then scribbled out my card numbers and ripped up the paper in front of me, telling me to pay cash or leave. No apology. I moved on to her colleague at the next desk, who processed the card manually without issue, proving her refusal was baseless. I recorded her being aggressive to share a complaint later with Marriott Corporate

At 9:30 AM, staff began loudly vacuuming the hallway directly outside my room.

At checkout, I was told to speak with Manager. I expected an apology and a remedy. Instead, Adrien Fortier barely said sorry and then proceed to claim my recording was a "felony" with a €4,500 fine under French law which I easily found is completely false and I would be so lucky that she probably isn't going to be pressing charges.

Insanely aggressive staff that clearly stems from the management. Avoid at all costs if you value being respected for being a paying longtime customer of over 50 stays at a Marriott properties just this year

Great home base for the Côte d’Azur!
Pros:

This is a fantastic hotel with a great location. The views from the rooftop restaurant and the breakfast room are fabulous. Food was good, and the hotel is in wonderful condition. The staff members we encountered were friendly and efficient. If you rely on public transportation, it is a bit of a walk to tram stops and the train station.

Great fun on the coast in Nice!
Pros:

Nilu the housekeeper was wonnderful and very attentive! The lobby help (bar, concierge, etc) were also quite pleasant and helpful. The location is excellent and rooms quite nice.

Fabulous
Pros:

This is a fantastic location with a brilliant room featuring a huge balcony overlooking the sea. The sun is always shining and the views are lovely. The staff are incredibly helpful, particularly Nicholas at reception.

A pleasant stay in a lovely place
Pros:

Good location. Friendly staff. Good breakfast.

Cons:

I picked this hotel because it had a swimming pool. But it was in the middle of the restaurant and it couldn’t fit loungers around it - it was so small! So I didn’t bother swimming. Also the gym was pretty small as well.

Beautiful view, unbeatable location
Pros:

The location for this property is perfect, walking distance of everything and a parking deck immediately beside the property (we rented a car). The amenities were perfect, with a ice and water dispenser on every floor which came in handy! Room was breathtaking, so much greenery visible it made it feel more natural and not city crowded! Bar on site was delicious, we even got a voucher for free drinks!

Great hotel and location in a great City
Pros:

le Meridien Nice was an excellent choice for first time visitors to Nice, located across the street from the Promenade des Anglais and the Mediterranean, and a short walk to Vieux Nice. The breakfast buffet was in a room overlooking the Promenade and the Sea. Housekeeping was top notch - Nilu and the other housekeepers kept our room refreshed daily and did an outstanding job.

Beautiful stay in Nice!
Pros:

Our stay in Nice has been lovely! Great hotel. Conveniently located in walking distance to many restaurants and shopping, and also the beach. Beautiful location!

Nilu, our housekeeper was fantastic… so friendly and a very hard worker. She made our stay even more enjoyable.
