An amazing place to stay with fantastic food and wonderful staff.
Pros:

Really nice room, comfy bed. Pillows could be a little softer and fluffier but, they were not bad.
Breakfast was amazing, lots of choice and good quality food.
Fantastic location for getting around London.
Parking a reasonable price for London.
Staff amazing, so kind, friendly, professional and very knowledgeable could not ask for better staff.

Gammel storhet som nok har falmet litt

I sin tid har dette vært et staselig sted med mye sjarm og dyktige folk - dette har dessverre falmet litt. Det er mange ansatte som er til for å hjelpe deg slik det skal være på et luksus hotell. Bestill hageutsikt!

Cons:

Men de mange ansatte har ikke helt kontroll. De husker ikke hva de har spurt om eller hva du har bestilt. Det virker som de er lite trent. Lite effektiv arbeidsfordeling. Her må hotell manager nok stramme til fordi dette forventes når man betaler for det. Hovedsakelig amerikanske turister når vi bodde der. Mangler kvalitets detaljer som forventes i dette segmentet

Schönes Hotel mitten in London
Pros:

Tolle Lage direkt am British Museum, fußläufig zu Covent Garden, Bus Richtung Harrods und Victoria & Albert Museum gleich um die Ecke. Typisch englisches Hotel, sehr freundliches Personal, sehr gutes Frühstück, vorzugsweise im hübschen Wintergarten, der zur Gartenseite liegt. Wir haben einmal den berühmten Afternoon Tea zu uns genommen, sehr üppig und lecker!

Cons:

Das einzige, was uns nicht gefallen hat, kann das Hotel nicht beeinflussen: Wir hatten Einzelzimmer, die zur Straße liegen, was eigentlich kein Problem wäre, allerdings wird täglich der Müll abgeholt, auch gern mitten in der Nacht, und das ist tatsächlich sehr laut. Aber nur, wenn man das Fenster geöffnet hat.
Und die Doppelzimmer liegen zur hübschen Gartenseite, da wird man das Problem nicht haben.
