Absolutes Wohlfühlhotel in bester Lage in London.
Pros:

15 Minuten bis ins Herz von Covent Garden, alles letztendlich fußläufig gut zu erreichen - das British Museum vor der Haustüre (inkl. dem Hinweis, dass man durch den Nordeingang schneller reinkommt).
Von Heathrow aus mit der Piccadilly Line direkt bis RUSSEL SQUARE, einmal durch den kleinen Park und schon ist man im Hotel. Busstationen alle sehr nah, unkompliziert zu allen Spots kommen.
Lage also supertop - und nachts ruhig.
Die Zimmer sind sehr gepflegt, picobello sauber, zwar klein - aber fein.
Das Personal ist toll, superfreundlich (lieben Gruß an ABI und seine Kolleginnen und Kollegen an der reception - so zuvorkommend, aufmerksam und professionell!) und in allem schnell.
Der Kaffee schmeckt sehr gut, das Frühstück ist gut. Eben british. Das Brot könnte echt besser sein, gute Bäckereien gibt es auch in London ;-)

Cons:

Vermisst haben wir eine Minibar im Zimmer, sprich einen kleinen Kühlschrank. Und wie gesagt, besseres Brot zum Frühstück.

Wonderful stay
Pros:

Very nice hotel. Super breakfast. Very convenient to British Museum. Staff is exceptional. The Leopard Bar is fun and the saxophone player is amazing

A lovely stay and we would definitely visit there again.

It was a beautiful hotel and the staff were welcoming and helpful

Cons:

The classic room is very compact and the bed proved rather small for two people. It clearly says how big it is in the details so perhaps I should have considered it more. Really it is only suitable for one person.

Welcoming, helpful and comfortable

Such a great hotel to stay in. Staff are welcoming, rooms are comfortable, beds are comfortable. The Leopard Bar is a treat, we’ve stayed 3 times and would book again.

Great stay at The Montague
Pros:

Everything felt so clean and fresh. Lovely hotel which we have stayed before. Staff are great and very helpful. Situated short walk from tube station in pleasant area. Room nicely decorated with facilities (nice extra touches as staying for special Birthday) also bar/restaurant area very nice with good food. Live Jazz entertainer was great and we really enjoyed our stay. Note: the hotel is not a bland ultra modern style but more traditional look and feel of a high end classic layout.

Cons:

Nothing really to dislike - only comment is putting the service charge on bar/food bill but this is becoming standard across all London hotels unfortunately.
