This was my family’s third visit to the hotel, though never in full, we aim to return once again with the whole pack…
We fondly remembered the perfect service given at the front desk and at the dining room, as well as the proximity of the hotel to major attractions, yet in a quiet street overlooking the pleasant Bloomsbury neighbourhood.
Our memories served us well, and with the professional and adorable service given at the reception from Ms. Megan, the wonderful approach from the dining room team and especially Ms. Lorraine and Mr. Sergio, our one week vacation in London will be memorable once again.
Thank you for keeping class as a top priority!
I stayed here with my mum, who is 93 years old, she is a wheelchair user and is unable to see. We booked a ground floor accessible room which was perfect for her needs. The hotel is beautiful, and is a great place if you want to explore London. Bus number 14 leaves at the end of the street and goes through the heart of London
The staff could not have been kinder, I certainly never needed to ask for help, as soon as mum and I entered the lobby, hotel staff appeared and were only too pleased to help .The perfect place for anyone who has mobility issues and perfect if you don’t . Big thank you to all the staff and especially to Ki
The highlight is the very kind staff and the location.
I was expecting more from the breakfast for the price and for the comments I read. It would be nice if they had pancakes/waffle included in the breakfast (you needed to pay an extra price for it). Also I was expecting more variety of pastries/cakes/pies.
Had a delicious lunch here overlooking the beautiful gardens the service and food were both excellent. Shout out to Mia who dealt very efficiently and professionally with gluten intolerance
Beautiful hotel, staff were very friendly and attentive, location is perfect

I had the pleasure of working with India from the events team to organise our work Summer Party for 110 guests. India has been amazing in helping to organise the whole event for the past 3 months, with the help of Chanel and Melissa too! They were very accommodating and even put up a hook in The Beach Bar when we said we wanted piñatas! The party on the day was a huge success, all the staff and kitchen team were on point, and I didn't have to worry about a thing! Big thanks also to Ev, the manager for always checking in with me and making sure everything was running smoothly, and for creating the best piña colada recipe ever!
Great summer party venue in the Beach Bar!
We were extremely well looked after by all the event staff who were impeccable throughout
Great setting for a relaxed, informal team event and highly recommended - helped the sun was shining too!
Thank you to Chanel, Melissa, and the entire Montague staff for making our Google team social at the Beach Bar so incredibly special and welcoming! The team at the Montague's meticulous care made the afternoon unforgettable. We highly recommend the Montague to any team looking to host a perfectly executed, stress-free, and memorable gathering!
ubicacion, dedicada atencion del personal, decoracion preciosa
habiaciones algo estrechas, con living aparte, pero ubicadas en dos niveles con escalera entre medio
This is a splendid hotel with an exceptional staff. The breakfasts were excellent and the location was close to many venues and restaurants we wanted to visit.
Such a lovely London gem. Across from British Museum & near several tube stations and bus stops. Plenty of food options around, as well. Location was safe & near several parks. We got upgraded somehow to an enormous suite, so I can't speak to the size of our original room, but it was amazing. Everything was super charming and clean, & the staff took so much care with their gracious hospitality. Can't say enough lovely things about this hotel. Stayed in a comparable hotel in Paris and Montague was a MUCH better value for the money & felt much more like a 4-star experience.
The staff is uniformly, gracious and helpful. The star part of the experience is the breakfast which is delicious but also hosted by a waitstaff that is exceptional in its attentiveness and charm.
I want to single out Lorien Panxhaj who oversees a very busy room and tells new guests on the minute about the dining room and what to expect
she never loses her beautiful smile or her warmth.
The location is killer. You can get anywhere easily and you’re next to the British Museum.
The rooms are quite small. It’s hard to move around in them, but the bed was very comfortable and everything you could want is available.
We would definitely return to this hotel
Very clean. Staff is very attentive. Hôtel is near the British Museum and there is a bus stop in front of the property and the tube is close by as well

Very central location, charming hotel, amazing staff
Our classic double room was small and felt quite crammed
Customer service was excellent.
Assigned to room 214. The room had a stairway to the restroom making it difficult for us as seniors.
Perfect location. Very good breakfast. Very friendly staff, always happy to help the guests. The afternoon tea and scones are highly recommended! All in all, in my perspective, this hotel is at "textbook" level.
A minor one: Please maintain the good standard of food. Omelette on day 1 was too soft. Omelette on day 2 was quite good.
