Pros:

All the staff without exception were attentive. Informative of the local area.

Cons:

Great it being dog friendly however, allowing the dogs to be on the seating was a little grose. One particular couple ordered a Sunday roast and fed their pet from a bowl on the seating . Maybe a sign to say a specific are for dogs to allow others traveling without their pet tube able sit without fear of staining clothes from muddy paws 🐾

Rundown hotel room, Poor breakfast, Friendly staff
Pros:

Close to where we wanted to be for a wedding, and the staff were very friendly

Cons:

The whole room for the price we paid could do with a revamp scuffs on the walls, where the toilet holder Had been removed, had been plastered over, but not painted silicone around the bath peeling away, stains on the stall to the vanity unit and the carpet stains on the ceiling next to the air-conditioning unit which made a horrible noise if you had it on. Breakfast in the morning was only a choice of cereal toast and a little bit of fruit for a Continental, and when I had the full Fryup I couldn’t finish it as it was very greasy like most of it had been deep-fried

Pros:

Special mention to Tracy who went above and beyond at breakfast time, making sure that that our whole group (20+) managed to get their breakfast early before having to leave for a football tournament.

Great location, restruant and staff
Pros:

The staff were friendly and welcoming. We travelled as part of a large group with children and the restaurant and bar staff were very accommodating. Due to competing at a nearly competition, we had to be out early. The staff offered to open the breakfast 30 minutes early for us, which we hugely appreciated. The staff who served us breakfast in the morning worked so hard and made sure we were able to leave on time, particularly Tracey who was wonderful.

A pleasant stay slightly marred by maintenance issues
Pros:

A clean room marred by a lack of maintenance . The bed was comfy and the location convenient to visit the Great Central Railway Ruddington. We were able to get breakfast and pub grub at the pub and sit in the garden.

Cons:

The TV was faulty, the door handle was loose on the bathroom door and could have fallen off , the part of tap for the shower was jammed and the hem was undone of one of the curtains.
