Pros:

Nice view over the canal and church. Very helpful staff arranged an early morning taxi to the airport and offered a take away breakfast if we wanted it. Close to airport comfortable room Restaurant next door if you want food. Good breakfast

Cons:

Long way from nicer restaurants by the beach but this is not the hotels fault and we chose to be close to the airport for a very early flight

This is our first trip. So everything was unusual and interesting. And the room is very beautiful, clean.

Pros:

Nice modern place, central location next to canal with fishing boats coming and going. Good value. Excellent breakfast.

Cons:

Some may prefer to stay on the Negombo beach strip which has lots of bars, restaurants and shops.
