The staff on the front desk were excellent.
All good
Great location, we had amazing harbor view, staffs were very friendly, will stay again
Reception staff were extremely helpful with my car parking error
Room was great, although we did not have a safe. Wide variety for breakfast. Location great, walking , shopping site seeing, and ferry very close.
Very quiet and the staff were very helpful
Nothing
Good location. Good restaurant. Friendly, helpful staff.
A bit dated in room. Shower with little pressure. Carpets stained. Balocny need weedkiller, clering of moss and painting.
Location
I did not like the early room rate of £10 per hour for room before 3pm as the room was already expensive.
Very comfortable, reasonably priced and as our flight was cancelled at very short notice we were delighted that the Leonardo Royal Southampton Grand Harbour Hotel could facilitate us with two rooms at very short notice.
Nothing to dislike. Very impressed with this hotel and very helpful staff.
Well located and friendly reception and housekeeping team. Appreciated excellent check in with a later arrival. The girl on the desk at the fitness/pool area was really helpful. Quiet room and slept really well
Not many changing lockers working
Close to the docks
The rooms we booked this time don’t have very good views from the balcony. Would be better if we could use cash at the bar
The location was fantastic, breakfast delicious and a great way to spend a long weekend exploring a wonderful UK city just a few hours from home. Room was also very sweet with a lovely corner balcony and view on the water and ships. The lady on check in was lovely and super helpful in getting us acquainted with the space and some tips on the local area to explore.
There was a fairly dismissive young man at the spa reception and kind of put us off enquiring further. We didn’t feel we were the kind of crowd he would want to chat to, so we got snubbed when asking about treatments and how to access the pool. We did enjoy the pool and the steam room/sauna. The hot tub was a murky colour and had a sign to tell us it was out of action which was a big disappointment and is also mentioned in other reviews so seems hot tub needs a refit. Also mentioned in other reviews was some of the cleanliness and aesthetic of the pool area such as levels of hygiene out by the steam room/sauna and then the stairs leading down to the pool being very rusted and run down.
