Adequate but pricey.
Pros:

Breakfast was fresh and tasty. Dinner was filling and flavoured. Room was spacious.

Cons:

Having to share the pool with children’s lessons. Small changing rooms full of children and their families. Ridiculously expensive coffee that wasn’t up to standard considering they advertise it as Starbucks. Hot chocolate definitely not star bucks but charge the same price.

Handy location for the NEC, breakfast is great - everything else isn’t.
Pros:

The bar/restaurant area is a nice space, the staff in the restaurant were very friendly and helpful.
Breakfast buffet was excellent.
Parking was ample and is free for hotel guests (just make sure you enter your reg on the tablet in reception).
Location was about a 25min drive to the NEC.

Cons:

The room was very small for 2 adults and a child. The bathroom was tiny! Very difficult to help a child shower and get dry as there is no room to move in there at all. No where to hang towels.
No plugs by the bed which is awkward for charging your phone. There are usb plugs but on the wrong side of the room.

The pool area was so chaotic. Loads of unsupervised children who were in and out of the jacuzzi and steam rooms even though they’re not allowed. Very large groups of men taking over all the facilities making it very difficult to use any of them and also rather intimidating as a woman. Especially as they are talking about you in another language. Changing rooms were freezing and dirty. No soap in the toilets.
The pool itself is a nice size and warm but the whole experience at the pool was not family friendly and certainly not relaxing or leisurely! Far too many people and no staff around to check on the pool area. No one enforcing the rules. Didn’t feel safe.

The hotel is tired - most of the double glazed windows have blown so you can’t see out. Flaking paint, worn carpets.
It was fine for a couple of nights stay and was handy for our trip to the NEC but I wouldn’t choose this hotel was a leisure stay.
