The staff were so curteous,welcoming and professional. The room was lovely and bed so comfortable and everything clean. I must mention the breakfast which was delicious,catered for all tastes with the choices at the buffet. Have booked again🙂

I really liked the style of the hotel and most of the staff were amazing. They were friendly and polite. I loved the bed. I get aches and pains after sleeping in some hotels but this was wonderful, no pain and a quiet sleep. Room service was also good.
When I first checked in I had just had eye surgery and was wearing plastic covers over my eyes. I could barely see anything. I asked for directions to find the lifts and room as I couldn’t read the room card which I explained. The female staff member just pointed it’s over there and didn’t offer any further assistance. She didn’t even offer me the breakfast option and seemed in a hurry to get rid of me. I felt very disappointed that she didn’t care I couldn’t even see the elevators and left me to slowly make my way through bumping into things. I almost cried as I felt so useless getting around. I had to stand right in front of each door trying to work out if it was my room or not. I couldn’t even read the cards to ring for help in my room and it took a long time to organise room service as I eventually managed to call reception on my mobile. I believe staff training is required on visual impairment or disability in general to help them support customers better.
We stay often at the Queens - Always try and book a junior suite at the least for space and comfort. We love the building and find the stay relaxing and quiet. Rooms always clean.
I dont like the new rooms - i think the rooms are smaller now, I also think queens has gone too modern. I dont like the quickstep flooring and have already noticed wear and tear there. Its also a shame theres no massage treatments think your missing a trick there!

Perfect location in the center of Leeds and close to the train station.
Clean. Smart. Artistic. The overall art deco appearance of the hotel was very stylish, modern and clean. Very central to the city centre and adjacent to the train station with ample parking just a few minutes away.
Being nitpicky the hotels only two lifts took quite a while during peak times, often stopping on every floor from 8 down to the ground.
Location, entrance felt grand but not intimidating. Welcoming door staff in the evening. Felt secure and safe.
A big spider in the room!
The tv was positioned on a side wall so it wasn’t easy to watch in comfort as there was only one chai for 3 guests. A tv wall bracket that allowed for the tv to be angled into the room would have made a difference- but it is really not a big deal, more of a a first world problem rather than a deal breaker!!
