We had an overall pleasant stay at Swissôtel Amsterdam. The location is excellent and very convenient for exploring the city, and the rooms were clean and comfortable.
However, our experience with the reception staff was disappointing. Most of the receptionists seemed impatient and sometimes even aggressive when we asked questions or needed assistance. A more welcoming and professional attitude would greatly improve the guest experience.

The hotel is well located in central Amsterdam being only a 10 minute walk from Centraal station (if you leave station from the correct side!) and with a tram stop immediately outside. We booked a Junior Suite to ensure comfort across our 5-night stay and were put in one on the top floor that was surprisingly quiet considering it overlooked the main street. The room was spacious, well equipped, and comfortable. Staff were always polite and helpful. Breakfasts were good as was the meal we ate in the hotel one night.
Of course we would have liked it to be cheaper, but then we had chosen a good room in a central hotel in an expensive city, so the price was fairly inevitable. It's perhaps strange that, as a member of the Accor group loyalty programme, their own "Member Rate" was beaten by booking.com 🤔
Beim Thema „Zimmer“ war alles super – das Zimmer war sauber, gemütlich und wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt.
Auch die „Lage“ war hervorragend, da viele Orte schnell erreichbar waren und die Umgebung angenehm war.
Das „Frühstück“ hat uns ebenfalls sehr gefallen, mit guter Auswahl und leckerem Essen.
Wenn man auf hohem Niveau meckern möchte, könnte man lediglich erwähnen, dass das Silikon an der Badewanne etwas porös war – ansonsten war alles sehr gut.
