Great service by Daniel at the reception, he is a kind and highly professional lad and we were quite satisfied about his work.
Prices a bit too high, the hotel is great but perhaps in need of some refurbishments.
The rooms are clean and spacious
We book this hotel because when we take our step daughter to the airport we can drive to Manchester airport and relax the night before park the car up (not cheap but worth it if we can park and go straight into the hotel), get up in the morning without having to worry about the car at all however on this occasion we were unable to find a space at all not because the hotel was full but because they had rented all the spaces out on a parking app. We ended up along with others on a stressful and desperate drive around the car park for over 30 minutes in the hope of being lucky enough to grab a space. Finally I got one right around the other side of the hotel and literally as far away from reception as I could possibly have been. Both me and my wife have arthritis in one knee and by the time we had walked into reception we were both in a lot of pain. We mentioned the car park situation at check in and the guy on reception was completely uninterested. We got the same response when we checked out. Later we got the standard WhatsApp message hoping we enjoyed our stay which we replied to gotva generic message back and were then ignored. Altogether with 2 rooms, parking, meals I spent nearly £400 in 1 night and am quite frankly disgusted by the couldn't care less attitude of the hotel. Too interested in maximum profit and not remotely interested in customer satisfaction
The room was nice and clean, the staff were also friendly.
Paying 20 pounds for parking, I have already paid for the hotel. Why am I then getting charged extra for using the parking? It's nothing but pure greed, and if I had seen this beforehand, I wouldn't have booked the hotel purely out of principle. Also, the restaurant wasn't great. Better off saving your money.
