The location was perfect; an amazing sea views and quiet rooms. The food from The Lawn restaurant was spectacular and definitely something I will have to have again.

Everything , the staff were all so lovely, every single one of them . They really went out of their way to be friendly and of course helpful. The location is fabulous , views were so lovely and it was great to be able to access beach for walks so easily .We had both lunch and dinner which were of a high quality and totally delicious. The swimming pool and outdoor hydrotherapy pool didn’t disappoint either .

Wonderful views, great Spa, impressive bar area and bar meals and the breakfasts were what we would have expected.
We hate to find fault but we were so disappointed that our room had a very basic stock of two teabags in the tea making equipment. The room was not cleaned or restocked and the telephone did not work. Thanks to the maintenance man we were able to get teabags and water. The front desk staff provided an explanation for the lack of room cleaning. They described priory was given to preparation of rooms for incoming guests and that they had experienced a high level of discharges and saw nothing wrong in this. We felt a hotel of the standing of the Marine and high room rates this was just not good enough. This was meant to be a special two night break but ended up feeling expensive and very average.

We had the loveliest stay at the Marine Hotel. The room was absolutely gorgeous with superb views across the golf course. The hotel was in a great location with only a short walk to the beach and high street. The staff were most helpful, especially Gina who provided us with her knowledge, guidance and recommendations. We spent one morning in the spa which was extremely relaxing. We will definitely return to The Marine in the future.
