We were upgraded to the 4th floor over looking the harbour which was lovely.
Excellent location, spacious room and very comfortable bed
All the mirrors in the bathroom, quite dark & tired
Great location, and superior hotel.
Comfy bed, central location, cool decor.
Poor breakfast selection and overall experience.
Good location
Room very run down not worth the price paid double tree by Hilton much cheaper and rooms are a lot better
View, comfortable beds
Comfortable bed..
No green tea..or pepper mint tea.
It was in the location convenient to what we needed to do
The staff did not seem interested in ensuring we were welcome
Adored the sauna and pool/spa. LOVED the artwork. The room had a decent view & excellent faciities.
The service at the front desk was variable. We received confusing advice on more than one occasion : re the room air conditioning and were told on one occasion that the restaurant was not open when, in fact , it was.
I cannot say enough wonderful things about the staff at the bar. You have an amazing team down there and they quickly made us feel comfortable and important. The drinks were a delight and I can say with certainty that it was there that I had the very best Espresso Martini I have ever enjoyed.... ( I am fussy about them. )The food was amazing with the pork belly proving to be absolutely divine. We ate twice at Hippo and once at the bar and both experiences were memorable for all the right reasons. Wonderful staff up there, also.
Our first meal at the restaurant the service was very slow, however that was a one off. The service on the next occasion was incredible.
The front desk people were not always up to date with the actual details about the hotel, we found the young women more approachable than many of the men.
We would have appreciated some information in our room about the area and also the TV. Two old biddies, we were challenged by such things as " what is close by" and how to work the TV with 2 controls!
The beds were pretty comfy and the location was quite handy.
It cost $55 for valet parking (only parking available), where they just parked right out front of the property and didn’t even bring it around at the end of the stay, just gave us the keys and had to find the car ourselves - we would’ve been better off just parking at the museum across the road ($30 for a day and undercover). Don’t bother with valet parking, it’s a rip off and a complete waste.
The shower was leaking from all holes and the hose and barely worked and just sprayed water in every direction, it was also pretty dirty.
The TV didn’t work properly and didn’t have any ability to cast and the room service was pretty average for how expensive it was ($39 for an average burger).
We stayed in QT Auckland and here, QT Auckland was phenomenal- this was a huge letdown.
