Comfortable bed. Good shower. Easy to find. Plenty of parking. Good choice for a couple of nights stay. I didn't have breakfast so no comment about that.
As always my room was as far as it could possibly be from the Reception. I suppose booking a cheapish room through a booking platform gets you the worst rooms. TV was very hard to navigate with the remote control which didn't work very well and was slow to respond. There was no guide in the room as to which channel was which. BBC1 was channel 107 and ITV was channel 133 - neither of which made any sense!
No hot water and was not told this at time of booking, even though they knew that as the boiler was being replaced. Room smelt very badly of vomit. It was cleaned again the next day, and the small did improve slightly, but we had to stay in room overnight with window open as no other rooms available.
It was a nice room, but I couldn’t get the door to lock, luckily there was a chain I could use.
Close to where we was visiting (Wanborough) they have a pool at this hotel and leisure facilities, I wish we’d have known this prior though. Staff were accommodating and the chef came and asked how our breakfast was in the morning. No faults at all
Sofa bed was away on arrival and we wasn’t sure why as there were 4 of us staying however on asking the receptionist explained we had to pull it out and it was made up already.

Early check in available. Location was central to where we needed and easy to find. Breakfast was varied and plentiful
Shower was feeble. Peeling paint in bathroom was unsightly. There wasn’t enough staff to manage and the staff that were there struggled to understand simple processes with check in making it very lengthy and requests weren’t understood such as booking a taxi, paying for items from the bar.
