If I could give 0 stars I would! I didn’t realize that I booked through a third party . This hotel is old! Pics look like it’s new on the outside but when you go in different story! We came in on a Sunday after driving 6.5 hours and wanted to check in but the staff at the counter said they didn’t have our room done yet and they were short staffed. So they told us to come back in 45 mins so we did and it still wasn’t ready! We couldn’t get into the room till 6:50. When we got to the room it stunk so bad like mold! The shower was full of mold and so was the tile around the floor. The whole room smelled musty. We couldn’t change rooms either. There was only one suite in there and we had it. After talking to the manager he said there was nothing he could do about any compensation since we didn’t book directly. I think that’s bull because it’s their faulty they were running behind and it’s not clean! Not the third party booking….. kitchen staff wasn’t trained on sanitation. They ran out of butter so you couldn’t butter your toast. Couldn’t get hot water for tea or never had anything but a couple cookies for free that were gone in seconds and not replenished.
They changed the garbage and put the garbage lid on the station where all the coffee cups and lids were. Don’t go to this hotel!

This hotel is clean, comfortable, and well located.
Pros:

The hotel is across the street from a big mall. Super location. Our room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was decent, with many options. The staff were great, especially the young desk admin guy baking cookies for an evening snack at 8 pm. That got guests talking and laughing together in the eating area. We would definitely stay here again.

Cons:

There were fewer towels in the room than at other hotels we stayed at.

Clean, quiet and affordable hotel. Second floor occupants have to carry luggage up and down stairs.

Our room was clean & comfortable. Hotel was quiet. The price was very affordable.

Cons:

2 floors and no elevators. Had to lug our luggage up the stairs. Only 1 ice maker? It was on 1st floor. Had to go up and down stairs for that. Only 2 coffee pods in room. one decaf & one regular. We both drink regular. Got down to breakfast by 8:15. Scrambled eggs and sausage were out and not replaced.

Weird, slightly disappointed.
Pros:

This is always our go to when in the area. The staff is usually very pleasant, the room is very comfortable and spacious, and it is a great location for our needs.

Cons:

In this most recent instance, the room smelled terrible, the bathroom floor was sticky, the bedding felt damp and the darkening curtain wouldn't close.

At check in the hostess did mention there was a weird note on the computer and she didn't know what it meant (no other details shared), so she walked us to the room before our first entry which was really weird.

Surely not our favorite stay here.
