Nice staff and served food until late evening in the bar area.
Great location in a very nice area, near to local tube station, shops, taxi rank opposite and a lovely tea room the Muffin Man. Felt safe as a solo female traveller.

Cons:

The rooms aren't soundproof had really noisy guests with children above my room , can also hear guests in their bathrooms going to the toilet!!

Looks like the actual Swimming pool needs a good cleaning when you're swimming you can see all the tiles are extremely grubby in the pool.
Lifeguard very laxed with poor safety supervision he only stayed a short time even though there were people still using the pool

Great Stay
Pros:

Excellent Breakfast with a wide range to cater for everyone., going to miss them. The rooms were really clean and well attended to. All the staff in every role were happy and friendly.

Cons:

The only thing I would say is that the ensuite was looking a bit tired and worse for wear. I had the opportunity to discuss this on check out and am led to believe that this is one of the areas programmed for upgrade.

Great Location, but Room for Improvement

The hotel is in a very convenient location, just about a 5-minute walk uphill to Kensington High Street Underground Station. There are plenty of shops and restaurants nearby, which makes it easy to explore the area. The breakfast had a good selection of options.

Cons:

Areas for improvement:

The rooms are tiny, and it can be difficult for two people to move around comfortably at the same time.

The lifts are quite old and slow, which can be inconvenient in an 8-storey hotel.

The service could also be improved. We understand that everyone gets tired, but some members of the reception team did not seem very welcoming, and the restaurant staff appeared rather tired and less attentive than expected.

On a positive note, we really appreciated the friendliness of the housekeeping team and the concierge.
