Wonderful staff, great location
Pros:

The location was excellent! Right outside the old city. Valet parking was a breeze. The outdoor pool was stunning. The staff was wonderful, so helpful and friendly.

Cons:

For an expensive hotel, the in-room amenities weren’t impressive. I stayed at tiny B&B’s that at least gave you a few bottles of water and coffee/espresso pods and milk/sugar. I got 1 espresso pod, no water. Just not what i anticipated for a hotel with this profile.

They were also very focused on their role as a wedding venue, in a way that was disruptive to non-wedding guests. Wedding set-up at the Bastion pool, including assembling scaffolding and testing the sound system, definitely impaired poolside relaxation.

Un séjour inoubliable dans un hôtel exceptionnel sur une île absolument magnifique!
Pros:

Un véritable havre de paix à l’entrée de La Valette. Le petit déjeuner (buffet ou à la carte) est exceptionnel et le personnel très sympathique, charmant et avenant. Un séjour parfait!

Rien, tout était parfait.

Excellent hotel with great facilities. Beautifully modernised whilst retaining it historic charm. Staff are charming and always helpful.

Perfect hotel in all departments. Ideal for a few days break or longer

Food, staff, room, shower, pool area and gardens, restaurant for dinner and breakfast. Cleanliness of everywhere. Location. Everything about it is absolutely top drawer.

Great hotel, nicely situated, nice warm friendly staff and very relaxing, see you next time
Pros:

Lovely hotel in excellent location for the city.
The gardens and infinity pool was gorgeous.
The large lounge was very relaxing for our morning coffee.

Cons:

A view would have been nice but understand that comes at an increased cost. The bathroom floor got wet when taking a shower, but it was manageable

There no plug in ports for watch , iphone ipad etc . Every high end hotel has these for convenience, I don’t cary old school plugs or adapters these days
