Wonderful location and overall facilities have a nice atmosphere, expected elevated accommodations to match.
Pros:

The location was perfect for our plans. The common areas were pristine, smelled nice and felt upscale

Cons:

The lighting in the spa where you are supposed to relaxer before/after massage was completely inappropriate (blinding led from the ceiling), the guest rooms are outdated and the mattresses are old and not comfortable. The bathroom in particular needed some grout work/bleaching and the hallways remained un-vacuumed for 3 days after someone with a lot of glitter walked through.

The Omni Kong Edward Hotel is still doing great - my favorite location downtown Toronto
Pros:

Again Omni King Edward delivered a weloming reception, great room comfort, excellent location and a great breakfast to keep you going. Everytime this hotel delivers what the traveller needs. I recommend you give it a chance next time in Toronto.

Cons:

King Edward is getting older and there is a time or maintenance and an upgrade. However, as gustes we can live with it.

Decent hotel
Pros:

Modern, clean. Liked that the rooms had some colour and not drab grey or brown - gave it some character. Stayed in a deluxe king - bed was comfy, pillows not so great - they were too thick, great for side sleepers I guess.
Had a great breakfast in the restaurant.
Bar was nice and didnt feel like you were in a hotel.
Location was good.

Cons:

We had a room with windows facing internally onto the other side of the hotel, which was very close, so could see into other rooms, meaning the curtains had the stay shut. Not much daylight!

I think it is the best looking hotel in Old Town Toronto.
Pros:

The King-sized room is much bigger than expected. Location is very near to St. Lawrence Market and Old Town. The lobby is grand with the giant-sized chess pieces. And, we like our housekeeper - we didn't need our room to be cleaned during our 3 nights stay, but we got extra coffees and water.

Cons:

We didn't really find anything that we didn't like.

This is a beautiful hotel to stay at in Toronto. Our room was very comfortable and spacious. It was a short walk to rest

The rooms were spacious and well layed out.
The staff were very responsive and helpful
Comfortable beds
In a great location - although the tramways could be heard from the room day and night.

Cons:

You could hear tramways at night and I’m not sure if the sound of music was coming from a nearby room or events in function room

Super stay and would recommend
Pros:

We had a super stay and would definitely recommend the hotel. Our room was so much larger than expected as was the bathroom. It was exceptionally quiet during the night allowing us to have a good sleep after the hectic days travel and the following days sightseeing. The room was spotless, with fresh bottled water supplied each day and tea/coffee facilities. The room was well equipped too, complimentary toiletries, hairdryer, iron and board. Air conditioning and heating. Reception staff very welcoming and a special mention to Kenny (bar staff) and Prem (restaurant staff) Food was superb!
The Hotel is around a 10 minute walk from Union Station and 10 minutes from St Lawrence’s market with the Distillery district around a 20 minute walk although there is a metro station near by. Although a very busy city we found getting around extremely easy.

A fine luxury hotel with old-world elegance
Pros:

The hotel is conveniently close to the subway station and lots of stores and restaurants. Very clean with nice staff who courteously and quickly responded to our requests for bottled water, extra towels, late check out, connecting rooms and many more.
