If I could give Hotel Barocco more than 5 stars, I would.
What really made our stay special was the staff. Everyone at the front desk was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help with anything we needed. Whether it was restaurant recommendations, directions, or just answering questions, they always went above and beyond. The breakfast staff and bartenders were amazing as well and helped create such a warm atmosphere throughout our stay.
A special shoutout to Marco, who is genuinely one of the nicest people I’ve ever met. He always had a smile on his face, took the time to talk with guests, and made everyone feel welcome. It’s rare to meet someone who cares so much about making sure people have a great experience, and Marco was a big reason why our stay was so memorable.
The rooms were spacious, spotless, and very comfortable. Everything was well maintained, the beds were comfortable, and the showers were excellent after a long day of walking around Rome. You can tell the hotel takes pride in keeping everything clean and in great condition.
The location couldn’t be better. The Metro station is right outside the hotel, and Roma Termini is only two stops away, making it incredibly convenient to get anywhere in the city. At the same time, many of Rome’s most famous attractions are within walking distance. We were able to easily walk to the Trevi Fountain, the Spanish Steps, Rinascente, and many great restaurants, cafés, and shops nearby.
What I loved most about Hotel Barocco is that it combines a perfect location with outstanding service. A lot of hotels have one or the other, but this hotel truly has both. Every member of the staff made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived until the day we left.
I would recommend Hotel Barocco to anyone visiting Rome without hesitation. It was one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had, and I would gladly stay here again. Thank you to Marco and the entire team for making our trip so special and memorable.
A localização, todos os funcionários foram muito queridos, a limpeza, as acomodações…tudo perfeito!
Nada.
Great location, close to iconic attractions
The service team was great
The room was clean and comfortable
We loved our stay at Hotel Barocco! Perfect location and the easy to walk to many locations in Rome. Beautiful boutique hotel, clean, friendly staff, cool air conditioning in the hot summer. We will definitely come back when we visit Rome!
Nothing! It was perfect!
The staff at this hotel was nice and the breakfast was lovely. But this is not a 5 or even 4 star hotel. The decor is dated and in desperate need of updating, the bathroom is tiny, and staying at the hotel is overpriced (they also don't make clear where the entrance is, which is not on the main Piazza Barberini). Good air con, which helps in the hot Rome summer. Very quiet. For many travelers, this hotel will be very good but for me it was overpriced and just adequate.
I am writing to tell my experience at Hotel Barocco.
I was traveling with my friends when I fell and injured my foot. Our stay was from June 14-18, 2026.
Each member of the staff were so caring and so very helpful- I will always be grateful. They made our time with comfortable, and every possible detail was looked after.
We are back in the United States now after enjoying the rest of our holiday. The foot is healing and hopefully in a few weeks, I will be fully recovered.
I hope to return to Hotel Barocco next year after my foot is healed. The Staff is wonderful. The accommodations were spectacular along with the convenient location. I would give this hotel 20 stars if I could! Definitely a must visit! We will be back!
Excellent breakfast and location Staff was exceptional.E
Very good location and very nice and welcoming staff that tried to make our stay pleasant.
However, this didn’t feel always like 4 stars hotel. There is no view,no coffee or tea maker. Breakfast very small, modest, and not very satisfying, lacking in variety and quality. Yogurt, fruits nuts, one kind of cheese, all not very high quality or tasty and you eat in a closed small room with no view.
Inside the room, very small space, no mirror only in the bathroom, The AC had a hard time battling the heat and humidity, no matter how low we set the temperature. The bathtub didn’t drain well and getting in and out to the shower was challenging and unsafe, certainly not to older people.
Overall, it was disappointing and we will not return.
Hotel is in an ideal location for seeing the sights of Rome, however being situated in a side street means it is also very quiet (which is very important to me). Very friendly staff and lovely breakfast. Will stay again when next in Rome.
First of all we were visiting during a heatwave and this hotel had 1st class air conditioning! I remember someone else’s review complimenting the A/C and I’m so grateful for it. We upgraded to a larger sized room and got the first floor piazza fountain view room. Breakfast was lovely. Front desk staff was friendly and helped us find a nice place to eat dinner on a Sunday when a lot of places were closed.
The location was perfect. Breakfast was delicious with a variety of foods, fruits, vegetables and hot and cold drinks.
I liked everything about the property…. Nice Rooms with a lot of lights.
