Needs more lunch and coffee breakfast options, for example a full Starbucks. Service in the fig restaurant for break fast was very slow, food took 30 minutes. Perhaps understaffed
Very helpful staff
cleanliness
no complimentary coffee in the lobby in the morning. When I got up at 6 my husband was still sleeping so I would have woken him up to make it in the room. When I went down stairs the charge was $10 and change for 2 cups and when I got my cc statement the hotel took the liberty to charge my cc $22. not sure why. I was disappointed. The rooms are good but narrow. Beds are comfy and clean. The location is at the top of the hill so walking to the pier is all down hill at first then all up hill to return.
1)Convenience of local attractions.
2The room was very roomy & spacious and liked that I could spread out on my side of the room as I had to set up my CPAP and recharge my phone. Thank you.
1) The transportation we used was less than desirable (e.g. using what we thought was Uber app was not what we experienced. However when we ordered transportation from the hotel concierge it was really great.
2) There was nowhere to hang our wet towels in the bathroom. We ended up hanging them in the closet to dry.
3) There were also no hooks to hang my wet shower cap to dry??
Location was great, allowed us to walk to waterfront
Was never able to try the hotel’s cafe, as it was never open. We did order donut holes from the bar; tasted fine but pricey. Relied on the market around the corner for snacks and coffee. Was glad for the onsite parking, but wasn’t prepared for the nightly fee.
Very nice Hotel! Employees were very friendly especially the Valets. Would highly recommend this hotel.
Location and comfort
Hotel was very nice and in a great location.
Good restaurant.
The mattress on the bed was very worn and was indented. Not comfortable at all.
location is the quite good, but the window's insulation need to be upgraded. my room is facing the highway and noise level is way to high for a good sleep.
noise, noise and noise. I have stayed with other hotel with the same situation of facing a busy highway, but their windon insulation is way better.
The location was great to the activities we had planned.
The elevator wait times were awful and the air conditioning wasn’t great in rooms. The rooms are also really dated.
Very disappointing stay. The hotel is dated and does not meet the standards I expect from a Marriott property. The rooms and common areas feel overdue for renovation.
The most concerning part of my stay was at check-in. The front desk manager, Sam, offered me an upgraded room in exchange for leaving a positive review that mentioned him by name. I found this completely inappropriate. Reviews should be earned through great service, not exchanged for upgrades.
Parking is also extremely expensive, making the overall value even worse. I would recommend staying elsewhere.
This hotel has a great location and the lobby and restaurant are very attractive.
The rooms are out dated (think 80s/90s), but our bed was comfortable. The bathroom needs a complete remodel.
The Concierge Lounge is disappointing. Breakfast had a nice selection, but needed refreshing at 8:30am ( which didn’t happen). In the evening, there is VERY limited food and no bar service at all. (We stayed at this hotel several years ago and the Lounge was top notch, but not now.)
Overall, the hotel is not a good value for the prices charged.
Great location and clean…. I always stay here
