Decent
Pros:

My partner and I recently stayed one night here. Arriving late, we didn't make much use of the facilities, but the lobby was clean and in good shape. The FDA who checked us in was generally pleasant and provided plenty of free bottled water. I later requested late checkout via Bonvoy app chat and received a courteous message back in minutes confirming it was provided; this experience was head and shoulders better than every other time I've tried to use the chat feature at other Atlanta properties, kudos to the Waverly team.

The king room wasn't terribly special, but it felt spacious, and the bed was acceptable (it wasn't memorably great, but it didn't suck either, so this isn't a complaint). Staff actually notified housekeeping of my late checkout (or perhaps the bilingual note I posted on the door helped, but I'll credit the team 🙂), so we weren't disturbed in the morning.

Parking is expensive. Beware that if you do your due diligence and look up parking procedures before checking in, you might end up double-charged: you MUST tell the FDA *very clearly* that you've already self-parked and taken a ticket from the machine and therefore don't need the pass, or just don't enter the lot until you get the pass. Better yet, consider the convention center parking deck directly around the corner, which is some $20 cheaper and authorizes overnight use by Renaissance hotel guests.

The accommodations have spoiled me. The next place I stay at will have to measure up.
Pros:

My room was lovely. The convention I was attending was onsite and it was great. I did not eat at any of the onsite restaurants. Truist Park was 6 minutes away. I saved $10 a day by self parking and I was very close to the front door.

Cons:

I panicked a little at check in because they could not find my reservation. My first and last name were flipped in the system but a supervisor found me. It may have been my fault when I made the reservation. All was good.

Pros:

Hotel staff friendly.

Cons:

Pool was closed. We were celebrating a birthday and the girls were real excited about swimming, but the pool had been closed for a couple of days with no explanation
