Molding food
Pros:

I was extremely disappointed with my stay. The accommodations were poorly maintained and did not meet basic cleanliness or comfort expectations. To make matters worse, there was moldy cheesecake sitting out in the lobby, which was both unappetizing and concerning from a health and sanitation standpoint.

The staff was also unfriendly and unhelpful throughout our visit. Instead of feeling welcomed, we felt like an inconvenience whenever we had a question or needed assistance.

Overall, the poor accommodations, lack of cleanliness, and unfriendly customer service made for a very unpleasant experience. I would not recommend staying here, and I hope management takes these issues seriously.

Pros:

Bed was comfortable. Pool indoors and out. Locations near the airport with quick shuttle service. The shower was quite nice.

Cons:

We would have been billed for the stay that we already paid for if we didn't bring it up. We were evacuated from the hotel for about half an hour with a fire alarm, that was eventually cleared by the fire department. There was some garbage under the bed. We don't actually like down pillows and that's what was there.

Eh
Pros:

Wow, for an expensive hotel, I am disappointed. The only thing nice about this hotel is the gym and the bed, and truly, that is hard to mess up. For starters, $20 a night to park in the hotel when it’s $100+ a night is quite insane. Also, no breakfast? Anyways, the bathroom… what the world, why am I reaching behind me to grab toilet paper? I had to take it off the holder so I could comfortably reach for it instead of reaching behind me. Secondly, no instructions on how to use this bougie shower head (the detachable one), and how uncomfortable that I have to stand under the shower head close as all ever to the drain because it tilts little to none, so the 75% of the shower is literally not being used because you can’t. On to the sleep area of the room, no microwave, that’s crazy… with how much was spent on the room, you’d think it’d have a microwave, and the knobs on the lamps were terrible. I’d have to click it multiple times to get it on and off. I just didn’t even use them except the one that worked on the other side of the room… ALSO, the WiFi is TERRIBLE. Like I’ve gotten better WiFi at the Comfort Inn… and the remote. I almost chucked this thing across the room, which wouldn’t have mattered because it doesn’t work anyways. You have to wait 10 Mississippis to click the next button on the remote. It took me 5 minutes to put a show on and turn it up because the remote was not working properly. Anyways, the fitness center was nice, had a lot of options, and the bed was comfy.

Pros:

What I like most about the Renaissance Hotel in St. Louis is the beautiful atmosphere, comfortable rooms, and convenient location. I also enjoy the pool area, the restaurant and bar, and the overall relaxing feel of the hotel. The staff is friendly and welcoming, which makes the stay even more enjoyable.

Cons:

The room itself was comfortable, but I didn’t like that I had to pay an additional fee for parking. I feel that parking should be included in the hotel stay, especially for paying guests.
