The Best in the West . We will come back here next year. Front desk employees are very helpful and kind and it makes us feel very comfortable

I recently stayed at the King George Hotel in San Francisco and took a chance on this lesser-known brand among all the big chains in the city. I was extremely pleasantly surprised. The front desk and reception team were outstanding, and the overall service felt well above what I expected from a “budget” hotel. My room was on the smaller side and the building does show its age in places, but it was very clean and thoughtfully appointed, with thick towels, comfortable bedding, quality French-milled soaps, and nice fixtures. I also appreciated the practical touches like convenient power outlets, in-room coffee, and modern TV connections. The lobby bar, common areas, and breakfast setup were all inviting and enjoyable, making it an easy place to relax or get a bit of work done. I’d highly recommend King George Hotel for business travelers or solo guests; families may want to book more than one room due to the compact size, but overall this was a great stay and I’m glad I gave it a try.

Horribly treated by manager and front desk staff regarding my handicapped cousin being accommodated. Prepaid reservation on Travelocity in June, called the hotel on July 2nd, arrived July 8th. After many arguments with them, we were told to get out of the hotel that day. I called 911. We were finally left in peace to finish our stay. I was outraged at the low level of respect we received. Also, the carpets were filthy, elevator fit 4 people, no locks on the windows. Stay away from The King George Hotel!

The location is good. The staffs were very helpful.

Great location. Close to union Square. Atmosphere is nice in the lobby area. But smell old carpet and erie in every floors. Room is very small and old looking. The water pressure is s super low and almost no water at all. The phone in the room is broken and can't even be use to call front desk. The worst part is this hotel is Haunted.!!! My husband being touch by ghost in the bathroom not once but 4 times. He thought it's water that touch his skin, but when he looked down the toilet, there is no water. He jumped and turn on the light and go back sit down again on the toilet. And he felt the touch again. That's when rushing out and realized this place is haunted. We stayed in room 909

Good location in downtown, clean room

I would never come back to a place like that racial profiling someone and homophobic and lying about what payment method they want and being a manager of a facility like that she lied and said she wanted a credit card not at debit card that we don't use or take credit card but the whole time and the website is Dave takes credit card and debit cards it's written in the agreement paper and then she told me she said if the credit card don't have my name on it that I can't get a room and my white friend came with me and we came together so by his skin color he was authorized to get a room but I had to go to another motel to get a room and she refused to give me a room and she told me that she didn't send charge my card because I didn't have a credit card but she lied she committed a crying and she slide my card and put my money in limbo I was on vacation and she made sure I got off the premises because she was a boss and she feel like she's untouchable but I'm following these papers on Monday and against her even that she gave me my money back because you don't do black people like that because one thing about it slavery is over and you don't do nobody like that racial profiling somebody and homophobic and calling me sir and I'm a transgender woman I have I have the same gender on my license like she has on hers but she don't want to say sorry and she wait 20 minutes and then she say sorry because it's not in her heart to say sorry and I want her name and she didn't want to give me her name and I said hey I said well I can take it off the front of your picture they look like they wanted to jump on me all three of the people behind the desk and so they have a mob and that's how they act and so I would never recommend nobody there and I would never come back there because I already see they think everybody is from the streets and I have a big house in Lancaster she probably don't even have a house but yet she...

muy buen hotel, no es un hotel nuevo y requiere ciertas modificaciones, entiendo que es un hotel viejo con aspecto algo vintage pero podrian mejorar ciertos detalles en mobiliario que ya se ve viejo y sin mantenimiento, en mi caso la cortina de la ventana del baño estaba rota y olia muy pero muy mal, en la habitacion hay un modem en el techo con focos prendidos que no te dejan dormir ya que te deslumbran en la noche y en la television muchos canales se ven pesimo, la imagen se congela y se pixelea haciendo imposible ver el canal, y esto de la TV es la segunda vez que me sucede en el hotel, por oto lado ofrecen pan, cafe y te por las malñanas de muy buena calidad y la atencion del personal es excelente, asi como la ubicacion del hotel, otro punto importante es que el elevador tarda demasiado en subir y bajar. en general es un muy buen hotel por su personal atento, limpieza y ubicacion insuperable

Very good hotel. It is not a new property and could benefit from some renovations. I understand that it's an older hotel with a somewhat vintage feel, but there are certain details that could definitely be improved, especially some of the furniture, which looks worn out and poorly maintained.

In my case, the bathroom window curtain was torn and had a very strong unpleasant odor. There is also a modem mounted on the ceiling in the room with bright indicator lights that stay on all night, making it difficult to sleep because they are very distracting. In addition, many of the TV channels have poor reception—the picture freezes and becomes pixelated, making them impossible to watch. This is actually the second time I've experienced this issue at the hotel.

On the positive side, they offer complimentary bread, coffee, and tea every morning, all of very good quality. The staff is outstanding—friendly, attentive, and professional—and the hotel's location is excellent. Another point worth mentioning is that the elevator is extremely slow, both going up and down.

Overall, it is a very good hotel thanks to its attentive staff, cleanliness, and unbeatable location.

Ubicacion.

Great location with everything you need nearby. The staff was very friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. The hotel was also incredibly quiet, which made it easy to get a great night's sleep. I would definitely stay here again.

Location, parking garage is literally across the street, the muni (train) is about 6min away as well as time square, close go restaurants and cafe. Neighborhood is clean and feels safe at night. Staff are very welcoming, they’ll hold your luggage for a long time while you venture out after check out. Beds are really comfortable.
