Beautiful hotel
The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The hotel was close to other places.
Facility was beautiful, well maintained and spacious. Staff was ever so helpful and friendly! Quiet, even though the interstate is so near. That was surprising!
Nothing really. It was a lovely venue.
The area around hotel was not very safe but we appreciated seeing security.
Great staff, nice room
The toilet did not flush properly
Great location if you are planning on exploring multiple areas, easy to get to downtown, Golden and the airport. Clean rooms!
Lovely hotel, great hotel and restaurant staff, very good food!
The only reason I am giving this hotel even 2-stars is because of the restaurant. The restaurant and its staff are amazing. Food was good.
The hotel itself, I would not recommend. Upon check-in we were quite impressed. The lobby area is nice. The hotel itself has quite an interesting layout. The room is a decent size, but the cleanliness is completely unacceptable. We first checked into a room and noticed that the shower was disgusting. There was soap scum all over the bottom of the tile shower. The view out of our window was of a homeless encampment where they literally had a fire going on the sidewalk.
We called the front desk and they offered to put us in a new room. We immediately checked the shower; same issue. Improperly cleaned.
They moved us to a third room. Same issue. Only this time there was also hair in the bathroom sink and shower, and toast crumbs and other bits of garbage on the floor: an added bonus.
At this point, it was about 9pm and we were tired. We agreed we would stay in the third room, but asked that housekeeping please come up and address the shower. We left the room for about 2 hours to eat at the restaurant, play in the games room, and explore the hotel.
Nobody came to clean the room that night, even though we were told they would.
We didn’t press the issue, and were out ALL DAY (12+ hours) the following day, and thought they would probably give the room a good clean in our absence.
Nope.
We arrived back to the same mess on the floor and the same dirty shower.
We went down as we were told a manager was on duty, and her only response was that she was sorry to hear that and offering us a free breakfast voucher for one of the two days we had left in our stay. It was disappointing to say the least.
She said she would ensure the issues were communicated to the daytime manager and to housekeeping. It is now the following morning, and housekeeping knocks on our door bright and early, waking us up to try and do a job that should have been done properly prior to our arrival. Ruining our last day to have a sleep in and slow morning during our trip. I am extremely disappointed in the hotel, and managements handling of the situation.
Would not recommend staying here.
Pool and hot tub were clean and the hot tub was hot. Room Service was fast and yummy. Enjoyed having a balcony. The in-hotel arcade was fun for my kids. Lounge staff were helpful and their food was also good.
The main restaurant is currently closed and we were frustrated by the breakfast options. Be prepared to pay for breakfast. Paying for parking seemed excessive based on the location.
