Starhotels Excelsior is a 4-star hotel in Bologna near the railway station, with 193 elegant, contemporary and comfortable rooms and suites furnished with selected fabrics, precious woods and refined materials. Very friendly staff, everything clean and the soaps/shower lotions were great. Noise not too bad, no street noise, just some noise from neighbouring rooms.
The bed is fantastic but sadly for me , too soft. But only here for 1 night so wasnt much of an issue
Staff were the best,at the front desk!We werent there much but any dealings we had with the staff were excellent! Bathroom was super nice!

Camera spatioasa si foarte curata, chiar peste drum de gara centrala. Desi am avut camera cu vedere la starada principala, geamurile izolau foarte bine zgomotul din exterior. Mic dejun bogat si diversificat.
This is a very nice hotel room across from Bologna Centrale Train Station. There is a grocery within walking distance, and food and restaurants nearby. This is an Italian hotel chain similar to high-end Marriotts or Hiltons. The front desk members were very accommodating.
Not really anything to say here. We didn't have any complaints.

Sofa bed for kids was large and comfy, kids free mocktails and breakfast (with paying adult). Location relative to train station was excellent.
If I had to find a fault it was that the scrambled egg at breakfast was watery.
