Très bien placé pour nuit d' étape, chambre quadruple très bien mais matelas un peu dur. Pub en bas du bâtiment pour vous restaurer.

Matelas trop dur.
L' accueil peut être plus chaleureux.

It’s still a good location for overnight stops but is getting expensive for what you get. Mostly l would like to see a
Pros:

It’s a great location for access to motorway north or south. You can get dinner and breakfast at the motel.

Cons:

Although we have been using this inn for many years now we feel that it needs a really good deep clean. Both the bedrooms and disabled bathroom could do with more in depth cleaning and the bar/ restaurant was certainly looking pretty dirty in places. I looked down at the skirting boards which had loads of paint chipped off and layers of dirt in some areas.
I appreciate it’s a busy place for evening meals but it really does need a blitz on the cleaning front. Tables were wiped between customers but then left wet and sticky.
Sadly we stopped using the roast carvery the past twice we have stayed - as a lot of it was rubbery and had been siting for some time. It’s a shame as we always looked forward to the carvery when we stayed there. But the quality has really gone down.

Always a great stay!
Pros:

Comfortable, clean, quiet location but close enough to the motorway for an overnight stop. Food is great! We always stay here when in the area. One of the best hotels we have stayed at so far. Worth the money

Overnight stay was fantastic but would find somewhere else to eat
Pros:

The disabled room was excellent. Couldn't have had better

Cons:

The pub's food was average, £8 a pint for beer very extensive. Loved the inn, but wouldn't recommend the pub.
