Good value, clean room
Breakfast was so so, but not bad for free
During our recent stay at the Hampton Inn, on Trumbull Drive, in Pittsburgh, I had the pleasure of meeting Jordan, who was working the breakfast area, and I felt compelled to recognize her outstanding kindness and professionalism.
I have Celiac Disease and must follow a very strict gluten-free diet. Anyone with severe food allergies knows how stressful traveling and eating away from home can be. Jordan went above and beyond to help me feel safe and cared for. She patiently looked through product specification sheets for the breakfast items being served that morning and helped me identify foods I could safely eat. She did all of this with genuine kindness, patience, and a wonderful smile.
Her compassion and attention to detail made such a difference in my stay. Employees like Jordan are true assets to a hotel because they make guests feel welcomed, valued, and safe. I truly appreciated the extra time and care she gave me, and I hope management recognizes what an exceptional employee they have.
Thank you again, Jordan, for your kindness and outstanding customer service, and also to Mike, at the front desk, for his wonderful sense of humor and big smile.
Expensive for 2 nights

My bed and pillows were comfy. The temperature was perfect, my favorite thing was that breakfast was available everyday consistently from 6am to 10am.
I wish they had a laundromat, and wish the pool was indoors.
Staff at the front desk and for the breakfast were outstanding and accommodating! 5 star 🌟
Beds and pillows were not very comfortable.
Close to a lot of places
Everything was fine
Nothing. Never got the room i reserved.
Service. They never officially checked me in. They told me there were no rooms available and there were also a waiting list for rooms to become available. Falsely advertised online as available when it wasn't. Wasted everyone's time that thought they had a room booked when they really didn't. I happened to be one of them.
Janay was so welcoming at breakfast. She made it feel like a home instead of a hotel.
Janay at the Hampton inn Greentree Pennsylvania was super helpful and very attentive and accommodating r to all of the guests in the dining room each morning. It was clean well stocked and the food was very good! I would recommend this hotel and I will be back.
I’m happy with the breakfast
Parking fees
Why?
The staff were friendly and helped with a lot. The room was nice and the TV was really nice. The shower was pretty good. The breakfest was pretty good.
The elevator got stuck a few times. The door going outside got stuck at one point. The room had a few bugs. The pillows on the bed werent good. The internet was ok but kept going out.
Janay is the best!! So helpful with directions with the NFL draft
Location was decent, on the edge of Pittsburgh and near highway. Like all Hamptons, it was clean and well kept. Downsides were that wifi was spotty and not always easy to connect to. And unlike most Hamptons, they actually charged for parking ($5/day).
The breakfast was good
I had to pay for parking at a hotel i already paid to stay at ahead of time and wasn't told about it before booking
I reserved two rooms, months in advance. My card was charged 3 days before the stay (as per schedule) but I was denied the rooms on property stating they were over booked. I was left stranded in an unknown city at midnight. I wasn’t even reimbursed right away (it took booking.com 45 mins to confirm that I will be reimbursed) so I couldn’t book myself & my guests another room before that. The lady at front desk of Hampton Inn was also very difficult to deal with and kept on changing her statements from the booking is not showing on her end > I can see the booking > oh someone else booked it. It was mid night and not as busy with tourists as she was telling it was. I am certain there was an error in their system and I was a victim.
