Very disappointed not to have room chosen and booked.
Pros:

We booked a deluxe room with a sea view in With. Got transferred to Aurora room overlooking street. Noisy.

Cons:

Could have informed me in advance about change of hotel. Not equivalent room.

Overall good stay
Pros:

Location is great. Staff courteous and friendly. Food is acceptable. Coming from the UK, Norway seems very expensive. Given this, the hotel offers very good value for money with breakfast and dinner included in the rate. Also decent coffee available all day. We were given a room with a balcony overlooking the marina which we really enjoyed.

Cons:

Our room needed some maintenance, with a cracked hand basin and some other issues. Room cleanliness could have also been better

I look forward to going back to the hotel again, it is perfectly placed and good value for money.
Pros:

The staff were all friendly, so it was a good welcome to the hotel. The coffee and cakes were a nice treat before setting off for the afternoon in town. The evening meal was superb and it was good to eat while looking out onto the people outside enjoying the walk around the harbour area. The breakfast had plenty of choice and, though it was busy, there was plenty of room to enjoy the breakfast without feeling any pressure, The views over to the bridge and the Arctic Cathedral on the other side of the bridge made it an enjoyable experience.

Cons:

There was nothing I didn't like.

11 day stay
Pros:

Location. View was excellent. Sauna and fika. Breakfast Buffett was good.

Cons:

Room cleaning every 4 days and in 11 days our bed linen was never changed even though we asked for it specifically after 6 days. Soaps and toilet paper are not replenished and you have to ask reception to give you a toilet paper roll and take it up yourself. This is not a 4 star hotel service. The lift was not working.. The dinner buffet was filling but more like a company canteen food.

Great location, lovely staff.
Pros:

Great staff , especially Johannes who was on reception. It was so nice having breakfast , cake & coffee available in the afternoon and then dinner in the evening. We had an amazing view of the harbour and very comfortable chairs to sit & relax and look out the window. The bed was also really comfortable. Great location for sightseeing and also for arriving by boat.
