It's a lovely hotel, but a little steep on the price considering the room was quite small.

Disappointing. Not worth the cost
Pros:

Lobby was really nice, old school vibe. Unfortunately no one sleeps in the lobby The Starlight Bar was nice and very well run.

Cons:

Room was very small and very dated. A lot of noise as well.

We had 6 nights at the beacon grand and we could not fault the service, location attitude of the staff absolutely superb
Pros:

Wonderful staff, very helpful and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble 😊

I would stay here again for the price.
Pros:

This is an old refurbished hotel which is centrally located. The room and bathroom were both very large. Minimal closet space. Nice amenities-shampoo, steamer etc.

Cons:

The room/bathroom could have been cleaner. There were bare floors with dust bunnies and some dirt on bathroom tiles. No view.
