Its location to Northwestern. The staff. The atmosphere. Everything.

The hotel and our room was excellent. Great location just a couple blocks from the purple line.

Our stay was amazing! Staff was very helpful and friendly. Room was clean and spacious. Very close to the Beach and all the shops in town. Valet parking was quick and easy.

Diamond member experience… no recognition at check in, no welcome bag, smallest room ever at a Hilton. Very noisy aircon, impossible to sleep with it turned on. Turned off condensator noise from the outside. Asked for one lousy hour extra for check out that was denied. So do not expect any diamond treatment at this facility. Valet parking expensive. So unfortunatelly a once in a life stay… guess this is what they expect there com in pay a fortune for a room where only fits a bad without any view room and never come back location. A pitty. Nice neighbourhood, nice lake parks close by. Homeless people hanging around in front at the public library anyhow.

Great experience at the Orrington! Nicole Robacki has helped me multiple times, and she always provides excellent service. Their team is responsive, professional, and makes the process easy every time. I highly recommend this hotel and their great staff.

We held my mother's repast at the Hilton Orrington. It is not an easy thing to plan a gathering while grieving. The team there made it easy.

Maureen, the events manager, handled every detail. She was organized, responsive, and kind. She anticipated what we needed before we knew to ask. Nothing slipped.
The food was the surprise of the day. We requested a Jamaican menu, and the chef delivered something with real soul. Guests went back for seconds. People who had not seen each other in years stood around the buffet and talked. That is what you want at a repast. Food that gives people a reason to stay.

My stay was comfortable and the property is lovely. Every staff member I met treated us with grace.

To Maureen, to the chef, and to the entire Orrington team: thank you. You did not just host an event. You helped us honor my mother well.

Riad truly takes exceptional care of every guest I saw him interact with. He provides such a warm, genuine welcome from the moment you arrive and leaves a lasting positive impression when you leave. Truly a gem!

I hosted a group of 20 executives for several nights, including some on-site meetings. The entire staff was incredibly accommodating and my contact was so easy to work with during the planning process. We requested a few last-minute adjustments to our meeting space, and the team jumped on it right away. This hotel is a really great option if traveling to Evanston - there are lots of restaurants nearby and it's within walking distance to Lake Michigan!

Pleasant, quiet Location close to Lake ( 10 minute walk) , close to subway station, restaurants and stores, WholeFoods& TraderJoes, ; very comfortable beds ; clean & comfortable rooms; very attentive and friendly staff ; great cleaning and room service

Very pleasant. They work very hard here. Tuesdays they have charcuterie and wine for free as a happy hour.

My husband and I had the most wonderful wedding reception here! The venue (the grand ballroom) is beautiful, with a stunning staircase leading down into the room. Usually hotel banquet food isn't great, but the reception food was EXCELLENT -- it was actually one of the things I was most excited for, and our guests loved it! We had about 270 guests, which is probably near the max number the room can actually hold (w/ 2 buffet tables & no dance floor). They were also incredibly accommodating for children & babies -- they had kids' meals ready and also high chairs/booster seats set out at specific tables as requested with our assigned seating.

Maureen was also so awesome to work with!! She was so accommodating to all of our requests, big or small, and met with us several times to iron out details and make we felt okay w/ the arrangements. From the menu tasting to reserving side rooms for getting ready to surprise-upgrading our comped suite, we felt so taken care of. She was also present the night before and the whole day of the wedding to take care of any last-minute things. She and the rest of the staff were so warm and definitely helped us feel less stressed about the craziness of wedding planning. We have zero complaints whatsoever -- thank you so much for making our wedding day so special!!!

Very nice one week stay where staff was very professional and answered any questions that we had, especially Ramandani F. My wife’s issues were the room view and the aroma of the shower gel. LOL
