Ordered rice and vegetables dish for $20, at that price I expected good fresh vegetables. The dish tasted like rice and roni with frozen vegetables. it had potatoes in a rice dish! Will not order that again.
There are no elevators, and it had a small bathroom.
One member of my party went swimming several times and ended up with an ear infection.

The location was great and it was clean
The bathroom was very small
Good location, pool was nice, and moved our room when we asked
Renovations were happening that we were totally unaware of. When entering our room it had a foul smell to it and we noticed several areas of mold. The ceiling, the bathroom/shower walls and even the mattresses. There was also small shattered pieces of what looked like ply wood or chipped paint? Under the sheets, on the mattress. It was gross. We asked to move rooms and we were put in a renovated room. In the morning we woke up to hammers banging and what sounded like severe stomping right outside our room. Would not stay here again, and would not recommend staying here even for just one night.

Excellent location while visiting Universal Orlando. Beds comfortable
Was clean but a little more attention to detail. One particular security guard was extremely rude!
Nice room, breakfast was very limited. Indian restaurant was nice. Room location said pool view, not so. only on the pool side of the block - stairs blocked our view. It was quiet nosy with people passing , 'shouting' and the stairs.
Quite nosy due to people talking outside the room and aircon.
The hotel location was perfect, and the front desk staff was pleasant.
I was shocked about two things at this property. One was there was no elevators, so we stayed on the first floor, and 2nd no microwaves in the room, but we could go to the gym. We were not use to that and have stayed in other properties near Universal. This was our first stay at the Clarion.

This is normally our go to hotel for HHn season because of how close it is to walk to City Walk.
Parking right now is an absolute nightmare when coming back late from the park. I'm not sure what they're doing but they have work trucks parked horizontally taking up multiple spaces as well as other random things taking up spots too- resulting in almost half their parking lot being taken up all day every day (these trucks literally never moved and we never saw any actual work being done on property). When we got back after 2:00 am from spending the evening at HHN there was nowhere to park and the person working the front desk seemed annoyed that we were bothered by this when it is the direct result of the hotel itself not planning accordingly.
