Raajkutir Hotel Kolkata
Pros:

The classic old hotel with beautiful rooms and all day service in the restaurant. Good service.

Cons:

Some parts of the public rooms were not clean.eg the bottom.of the pillars, the window frames etc. It is supposed to be "shaby" but only the floors seemed to get cleaned. Doors neded repainting too.

Pros:

lovely heritage property located in the heart of kolkata. Good house keeping. The highlight was the politeness of the staff. very well behaved and well tutored. Mention should be made of Mr Sengupta- duty manager who showed me the property and took care of my travel needs. Also quite liked the swimming pool

Cons:

Goof up with my airport pick up arrangements. I had availed the hotels airport pick up facility but unfortunately nobody was there to pick me up and no prior message was sent to me. Ultimately I managed to get through to the hotel and the car was sent.This must be looked into.
Secondly very much on off service with the morning newspaper and morning alarm which were available on some days and absent on others. This needs to be corrected.

Picture perfect place to spend some good time.
Pros:

It's a perfect place to spend some quality time. We were a group of four friends and enjoyed every bit of it - the courtyard, the restaurant, the swimming pool and the bar. Those who wants to take some beautiful photos it can be the right one.

Not worth your money !
Cons:

Their rules are extremely restrictive. Guests aren’t allowed into the hotel after 10:00 pm, so I wouldn’t recommend planning a birthday, anniversary, or any late-night celebration here. You also can’t bring your own alcohol into the courtyard—you have to buy drinks from the hotel, and bizarrely, you still aren’t allowed to drink them in their own courtyard.

Pros:

Beautiful property, well-maintained. Quiet and restful. Quality service. Staff were extremely polite and really did go above and beyond.

Cons:

Facilities are slightly dated (TV channels, and ability to cast or use streaming services), in-room dining and food overall was average. I sometimes felt like hotel employees were struggling to understand my requests.

50th Anniversary Celebration
Pros:

The property is very exclusive, well maintained and has extremely kind staff. We arranged my parents 50th anniversary and the team did an excellwnt job with attention to details. They were also very kind in meeting last moment requests. Special mention of Mr Chandan, Kamal, Rohit and Mrinmonmoy from East India Room. Also Ankur (chef) and Kunal (entrance) did a great job in making the event successful.

Strongly recommend a visit as makes you feel like a True Zamindaar.

Cons:

The entrance is a bit confusing. Not sure if that can change but to be honest it's acceptable.
