beachfront
dirty sheets, bugs, clogged toilets, no towels,
Nothing overly charge you for everything
Pool was green dirty and the staff was rude
The cost.
No towels at first, no hygiene products-empty, room not thoroughly clean, trash was left behind in refrigerator, front desk personnel appeared suspicious of me more then welcoming me, paying to park on the grounds was a big turn-off
Elevator didn't work and we were on 3rd floor, no blankets on beds , no towels in room, had to walk up and down stairs 6 times , 1st time to go get towels and blankets but they said blankets was in closet and gave me towels, got back to room and blankets was not in closet, went back to get blankets and got back to room , no face towels so I had to go back to get face towels, chair in room had vinyl peeling all over room , I had to sweep it outside at checkout, I will never go there again
I didn't like anything about it
Nothing
Hotel rooms were very dirty. Dead bugs on floor and beds. Went into room and immediately went back to the front desk to cancel and ask for refund. Was told Id get no charge only to have them not cancel my stay and still charge me. Spoke with a Wyndham customer care rep and was told I cannot receive refund due to me using my stay when in reality me and my pregnant wife were in the room 5 minutes and decided it was not worth staying in.
The room was adequate. It wasn't dirty.
The light switch fell off and wasn't even screwed in. The lamp had no lampshade. The vent in the bathroom was not covered and full of dust. The smoke detector was hanging from the ceiling. There were no towels. We had to go to the office to get them.
We stayed at the above mentioned hotel on the indicated dates. The reservation was made through Trivago. The Wyndham name brought on images of high class of hotel. After our stay, we were very disappointed that the Wyndham Hotels & Resorts corporation would allow their name to be associated with such a low class hotel.
Upon checkin we were asked to provide a credit card for incidentals, which is customary at most hotels. I overheard the conversation that the next guest had with the clerk. He indicated that there was parking fee. I went back to the clerk and asked him whether or not my reservation included the parking fee. He said it was included.
We were given the key card envelop that had been obviously reused multiple times, with only one key card in it, not the usual two cards at most hotels. We were directed to the backside of the hotel to where our room was located. (I guess for the price, an ocean view room would be too much to expect!) We opened the door to the room and things continued on a downward trend. The overall condition of the room was horrible.
The vanity faucet was corroded.
The bathtub had been refinished. The refinishing coat was peeling at the tub drain.
The caulking along the floor where it meets the base of the tub was either missing or peeling up.
The paint on the wall just above the base board, facing the commode, was peeling as well.
There was a hand soap dispenser rack in the vanity area, but no hand soap dispenser. Essentially the same thing in the bathtub/shower. Dispenser racks mounted on the shower wall, most likely for body wash, shampoo, and conditioner, but no such products available. We found one small package of bar soap.
The cushions on the chair at the desk were damaged.
The beds had a fitted sheet and top sheet only: no blanket or comforter. I personally used bath towels as a blanket to keep warm overnight.
Upon check out the next morning, I asked for a receipt for any charges that may have been made to the room. The front desk clerk who checked us in the night before was the same clerk in the morning gave me the receipt: a tall gentleman of Indian or Pakistani descent with black curly hair, black beard, and black glasses. There was $15.00 charge for the parking, despite the clerk telling me the night before that the parking was included in my payment to Trivago.
If I could give this hotel a zero star rating, I would. I am having serious doubts about every staying at another Wyndham property again.
Absolutely nothing
Says free breakfast but they didn’t even put anything out. They said they decided not to. Beds were so uncomfortable. Place was an absolute slump.
The location
The room was dirty, with mold in the bathroom and the shower curtains
The pictures on the website are not up to date. The property is in much worse condition than shown, very unkept.
The pool had green scum on the bottom, the chaise lounges were ripped.
The breakfast was only waffles and cold cereal. No one was maintaining the space. Waffle batter was spilled all over the counter. The juice machine offering two flavors was not in working order-no sign stating this.
No cream for the coffee, only milk in a picture with Saran Wrap covering it, very sketchy looking. The garage was overflowing. The fresh fruit was old and wrinkled.
Many of the walls were deteriorating, peeling paint. The faucets in our room were corroded.
The only positive is the Seawall is literally across the street.
Would not recommend.
