Even though it was a no staff hotel, checkin was really smooth with the video calls. They had lockers in the building which was really convenient for checking out early in the day and pick up our backpacks from the lockers when we were in our way to train station later in the day.
Our room was in the base floor and all drains in the bathroom was problematic. Water hardly go through on the sink and shower. Not a nice experience and doesn’t feel hygienic. Also very poor lighting in the bathroom.
Also walls are not soundproof at all, every noise either coming from street or people entering the building was in our room. Very hard to sleep during friday and saturday evening as city lives until morning.
Besides that i found the empty cigar box on the couch, probably from previous guests, which made the cleaning questionable.
Konumu oldukça merkezi. İstediğiniz her yere rahatça ulaşılabilir.
Bi kere binanın içerisinde maalesef çok dar ve dik merdivenler var bavullarla hareket etmesi çok zor. Temizlik konusu da biraz can sıkıcıydı.
Check-Out sonrası bavullarınızı koyacağınız kilitli bir dolap veriyorlar.
Asansör olmaması büyük bir eksiklik. Tek kullanımlık terlik Yok
Close to the central station and to local bars and restaurants.
Clean room with good amenities.
Great and spacious room.
Silent neighborhood - although very central.
The stairs to get to the room are steep and small - hard to go up with a bag.
The roof of the room is a bit low and the beams, although it gives a nice vibe to the place, are very much in the way for everything - bed and toilet for instance.
The location was ideal!
The room wasn’t as clean as I would have liked.(spiderwebs on the ceiling and stains on the carpet)
Absolutely loved this hotel! So easy to book in. So accommodating and everyone you met(virtually) was so nice. The room was so cute. The view perfect! The location amazing! Thought of everything. Even had a steamer in room
I was prepared for it but the stairs are narrow and steep but that is normal in all the Canal houses, so don’t take a big suitcase unless you are ready to take it up the stairs. It wasn’t a negative ,just something I’d warn people about. As I was happy to be prepped for .
Very close to everything you need. Beautiful view. Good check in and out experience. Room had more am entities thank we thought - soaps to hairdryer, basic plates and even wine glasses.
Loved the character of the building! Very clean and had somewhere to store our luggage before the rooms were available.
Obviously the stairs made it difficult to lug our luggage up and down to our rooms. I can see how this could be an issue for those with knee or back problems but it’s understandable for a building with history. Also, the TV remote for our room didn’t work (we only had one and when we borrowed from our travel mates the second one they had worked for our TV. Our stay was during World Cup games so this was a bit frustrating. We did let the virtual concierge know so hopefully that was taken care of
Location. Cleanliness. Comfortable bed. Great view. Peaceful
Top floor, steep steps with no elevator. To be expected in an old canal house Pack light !
