Room was abit far from reception my partner has just had a hip operation long walk with quite alot of stairs.
The reception area nice clean bright
No lift to the room my aunt who is 67 with medical issues was having difficulty going up stairs to the 1st floor
No TV remote had to call reception for it ..

Nothing was too much trouble for the staff and the were extremely friendly and helpful and accommodating
WiFi weaker in the lower level room, (with bath). Not a stable connection at times.

Customer service is extremely poor as no one responds to you. I have sent numerous messages and would not look to stay here again. Despite a promise someone will contact me, its been weeks and no one did!

The pool although small, was clean and really warm!
The food for the package was limited but all nice and decent portion size. Breakfast was good and had a really wide variety.
I have to say that all the staff were really friendly and polite too and managed to find us a hairdryer when we realised our room didn't have one. The young lady who looks after us for our evening meal was also really lovely. We've had a really nice stay. The rooms are small but clean, if anything the bathrooms are startimg to look a little tired. This is our third time and we will definitely return!!
Compared to other hotels value for money
Nothing I didn’t like
The breakfast was well stocked and a good variety of both continental options and cooked breakfast. The rooms were adequate and relatively comfortable. However, travelling with a friend who is gluten intolerant we carefully checked the dietary requirement labels for each item to ensure they were safe to eat. Only having double checked with a staff member about the sausages and hash brown were we told they actually were not GF and they had to cook fresh items. We waited 45 minutes for GF sausages before having to leave. They were advised to remove the dietary labels due to being false, which they then did, but only having advised them they could make some really poorly.
Having booked our rooms in August 2025, we arrived at 11am understanding the rooms weren’t available but as we were going to an event wouldn’t be back until gone 11pm and did we need to check in to ensure our rooms were secured. Assured it wasn’t a problem, we then returned later and were told there were no twin rooms left as they’d been given away. No apology was offered by the manager on duty, just blame apportioned on their colleagues for their mistake. When asked if we could have a spare duvet, we were told that we’d have to come back when they had some time after dealing with other waiting guests gone midnight. Really disappointed with the lack of apology and no real desire to assist us with alternative arrangements.
