Borkum Island is partially car free.

Please note that the schedule for Borkum’s Island ferry is continually changing, as ferry-crossing times are dependent on the tides.
The travel time from Emden Ferry Port to Borkum Island is approximately 130 minutes, including a ride on the Island’s Inselbahn (train). Guests can leave their cars at Emden Ferry Port, which has a large car park.

Guests intending to arrive outside reception hours are kindly asked to contact the hotel in advance.

Superlocatie en gastvrije ontvangst direct aan het eiland-stationnetje, zonder overlast.
Pros:

Heerlijk, direct aan/boven het Eiland-station. Perfecte ontvangst, zeer vriendelijk en hulpvaardig. Prima ontbijt, in alle opzichten een plek om nog eens terug te keren.

Mooie centraal gelegen accommodatie waaraan veel aandacht is besteed aan het herstel van de historische kenmerken van het gebouw.. Zeer vriendelijke en behulpzaame medewerkers. Mooie schone kamer met uitzicht op het smalspoor station van Borkum.. Goed ontbijt in een gezellige ontbijtzaal met een plezierig uitzicht. Dit hotel is een echte aanrader.

Einfach ein schöner entspannter Urlaub im Hotel Rummeni 👍🌞

Die Unterkunft war super, und das Personal war auch sehr freundlich und gut. Wenn was fehlte oder nicht da war haben die sofort reagiert. Würde mich immer wieder hinfahren! Einfach top 👍
