Very disappointed!
Pros:

World famous so high expectations. Sadly most of us wasn't impressive.

Cons:

My bed was sagged, a car alarm going off 7 times made our night very long, and we were (looking to the photo's in this listing) downgraded. Compensation was promised per email for the bed and car alarm (as they didn't do anything about it), but we didn't get the compensation because we also wanted compensation for the downgrade. We didn't get a response for that claim, so didn't receive anything. In the restaurant I got a steak well done, instead of medium. That was dealt with in a normal matter, and their employees let me use their phone to call the hotel desk as they were not present before 12 o'clock (so I couldn't complain/explain at the desk). That restaurant knows how to deal with disappointed guests! After almost 3 weeks without any compensation or communications, I can say I expected way more of this quite expensive motel.

Pros:

La situació de l'hotel si no vols entrar a Amarillo.

Cons:

A les fotos de l'hotel es veuen les casetes de colors, i quan vam arribar va resultar que tenen unes altres habitacions apartades de les que es veuen, sense colors i davant d'un aparcament de camions i del lloc on tenen els cavalls. A l'estar al costat dels animals, l'habitació estava plena de mosques, per poder dormir vam haver de matar-ne unes 10, que vam detectar entraven per l'aire condicionat. Ens vam decepcionar molt perquè era un dels hotels que més esperavem ja que estvem fent la Ruta 66.

Fun overnight trip.
Pros:

Nice location, kitchy decor as expected. Great meal at the steakhouse.

Cons:

Room didn't look like online pics. Seemed clean enough but old carpet, bedding etc. Could be that other rooms were nicer. Not inexpensive...more than some decent chain motels.

Pros:

The hotel room is outdated. THe bathroom very dark, shower curtain very dark allowing no light through while bathing. We took a bath towel and hung it over the wooden curtains on window as they needed some fixing and there was a visible open crack for someone to look through. Just needs an overall fresh update to the room, fixtures, etc. Outdated.

Estancia recomendable en la ruta 66
Pros:

Pese a ser una parada típica de la ruta 66, todo se encontraba en muy buen estado. La habitación era cómoda y estaba limpia. El personal fue muy amable.
