One of the best hotels I've stayed so far.
Pros:

Very clean, with a small balcony facing a quiet road. The room was small, but it had a great layout. It had a small fridge that had complimentary drinks, including 2 beers and 2 soft drinks upon arrival.
The staff was really lovely, and the breakfast was really, really good. There was a wide variety of options to choose from, and their fresh juice was delicious.
We enjoyed our stay here very much.

Cons:

A little bit of a walk from the train station.
Nothing else. All was great.

Great and friendly hotel
Pros:

What a great boutique hotel - we really enjoyed the hotel. The staff is super friendly and eager to please - everytjing we asked for was provided with service-oriented approach. The room was lovely and elegant, and the breakfast was diversified and tasty.
Great hotel, and they deserve no less than 5 stars.

De kwaliteit van de kamer en de grootte stonden niet in verhouding tot de hoge prijs, zelfs voor Zwitserse begrippen, noch was de foto totaal niet representatief. Op de kamer een relaiskast bij de airco die om de 45 min een soort schoolbel liet afgaan waardoor we nauwelijks konden slapen. De badkamer had meer iets van een budget hotel met een schuifdeur die zo stroef liep dat we die eenmaal binnen bijna niet meer openkregen. Ook het eten in Bolero was zeer matig, te weinig en het verhaal waarom dat zo was sneed geen hout. Ik wilde mijn gezin een “luxe ervaring” bieden maar het tegendeel was waar. Zeer teleurstellend. De vrouw achter de receptie zei de goede dingen die ze op de opleiding had gehoord en was behulpzaam toen onze auto was ondergekotst door een kat, maar deed niets om ons tevreden te stellen, zoals daar toch mogelijkheden toe zijn. Erg jammer.

It was clean and to the point

Location is close to train and convenient but not nice in terms of the area . Also there was this noise that came and went like something electrical from the property all night .

Great location and nice hotel
Pros:

Very clean and convenient hotel. Great location next to train station (and close to old town). Was concerned about noisy trains, but we didn’t hear anything. Free spring water and two bottles of beer and apple cider every day! Helpful staff. We didn’t eat breakfast there, but we did eat dinner at the Spanish restaurant Bolero, and it was excellent.

Great stay at Hotel Cascada.
Pros:

Everything about this hotel was great. Very conveniently located near the train station and 10 minutes walk to the old town. Staff were friendly and efficient and the breakfast was excellent. Many nearby restaurants.

Conveniently located with excellent hotel staff!
Pros:

Cascada is conveniently located near the Lucerne train station but apart from that, they have an excellent staff!!! Each and every one is friendly, cheerful and very helpful. This is true for the front desk as well as the room service staff. The hotel also has a great restaurant, Bolero. The staff at Bolero is also excellent. A shoutout to our wait staff Javier and Vanessa for their excellent service. Don’t know if this is a Lucerne thing or not, but the minibar is free to use and stocked daily. Too bad neither one of us drink alcohol. The room did not have a bath tub (at least ours didn’t), only a shower, but it was clean and comfortable.

Great family experience.
Pros:

We loved Cascada! The staff was so friendly and helpful and the room was plenty big for our family of 5! The location could not have been more centrally located also!
