This property is advertised as a 5-star wellness hotel, but in reality it barely meets a 3-star standard. The “wellness” label is highly misleading: guests are expected to pay €60 per person for just 90 minutes of sauna use, which is outrageous. The gym has a good number of machines, but the mats were dirty and there was no disinfectant available.
The rooms were extremely noisy, the beds were hard and worn-out, and I barely slept during my stay. The balcony had uncomfortable metal chairs, while our neighbors with the exact same setup had sun loungers. When I politely asked for loungers, my request was simply refused. Not that we could have used the balcony much anyway — we were constantly surrounded by cigarette smoke from other guests. The hallways also smelled of smoke, and one morning we were woken up by a fire alarm outside.
The food at the panoramic restaurant was fine, but overpriced and far below what you would expect from a true 5-star establishment.
After repeated complaints, we were finally offered sauna access on the last day — €24 per person per hour for only one sauna, as the others were switched off. Even then, I was told I couldn’t pour water over the stones in a Finnish sauna, and that I had to wear a bikini despite paying for exclusive use. The surrounding relaxation areas were cold and unheated, and the changing rooms and showers were dirty.
Some staff members clearly tried their best and seemed aware that the hotel does not meet the advertised standard, but others acted indifferent and unbothered.
The location is also underwhelming. Apart from a coastal promenade, there isn’t much to explore on foot. Attempting to walk inland leads you along roads or — in my experience — being chased by stray dogs. The beach itself could be beautiful, but there was noticeable plastic waste and cigarette litter. At the foot-rinse station (part of the partner hotel next door), broken glass was scattered across the ground and even after reporting it, nothing was done.
In summary, this was the most disappointing hotel experience I have ever had. I strongly advise against staying here — it simply does not deliver anything close to a 5-star experience.
The staff is helpfull and the whole service is more than pleasant. The cleanliness is exquisite and the room was comfortable in every way. Breakfast was wonderfull

I travel a lot and this was a very odd hotel. It is immaculately clean. But not luxurious/5* by any stretch.
Beds uncomfortable, towels thin and decor through the hotel is extremely opulent but not in a good way - Russia meets traveller caravan. The check in process was soo slow, breakfast mediocre and the spa/pool and gym can only be used between 1000hrs and 1800hrs. I was visiting with work and wanted to swim when I arrived just before 1800hrs! I was told very firmly no! I like to workout first thing in the morning- again no!!

Wonderful hotel. We are here four times. The management of the hotel is fantastic. Really professional. They all work as one team. The cleaning of the rooms and the hotel is spotless. The highest grade. We want to come back to this hotel again and again. Amazing restaurant. The beach is fantastic. The pool zone and the music are very relaxing. There are no kids in sight. Adults only. We recommend it to everyone who is looking for a wonderful sea and the best service.

Super kitch Russian interior design and quite incompetent staff. I chose this hotel because of the underground gym, which potentially is quite elaborated but with terrible maintenance and airco not working! Result, imposible to do a descent workout and lots of discussions with the staff from the moment of checkin till the checkout for different reasons. To avoid if you wish for a relaxed stay.
This is NOT a 5-star hotel.
Extremely disappointing experience. The service is poor, the hotel is dirty, and the beach is full of trash and algae. The so-called wellness area is 80% closed, the skybar is shut down, and the gym closes early – we were even kicked out at 5:45 PM with the lights turned off while still inside.
The breakfast is as cheap as it gets – stale bread, soft supermarket-style cookies, and absolutely no service. Even worse: a simple espresso costs €5 and is served in a paper cup. Totally unacceptable for any hotel, let alone one advertised as 5-star.
The worst part? Mold in the bathroom (see photos) and open ceiling panels in the spa – absolutely shocking and unhygienic.
We paid extra expecting a premium experience, but what we got was disorganized, poorly maintained and nowhere near 5-star quality. Reception staff was uninterested and offered no real help.
Definitely not recommended. Stay somewhere else.
First and last time at this hotel
This was our first stay at this hotel — and definitely the last. The attitude of the staff towards guests is unacceptable. One employee in particular, a young woman named Corina (I may be mistaken about the name), left a very negative impression. She works at the bar.
She was consistently rude, responded to any request with irritation or outright refusal, and refused to acknowledge her mistakes, even when they were obvious. She was even disrespectful toward older guests, which is simply unacceptable in the hospitality industry. It’s clear she needs proper training in customer service and communication.
It’s especially disappointing because the hotel itself is beautifully designed. You can clearly see that a lot of effort, thought, and money was invested by the owner into creating a stylish and high-quality interior. Everything looks elegant and well maintained.
We do not recommend this hotel to anyone who values respectful treatment and a pleasant vacation experience.
Not recommended — maximum 3 stars, the staff ruins the overall impression
I’m currently staying at this hotel and unfortunately the service level does not match the declared five stars
It’s at best a 3-star experience, and only thanks to housekeeping and the room quality
One example
I asked to change my beach towel
Reception told me to go to the pool bar
I went there, but the bar staff rudely refused, saying “we don’t change towels, you only get one per stay”
I had to wash it myself and then return to reception, where they finally changed it
I’m staying for 10 days, by the way
If you have a towel exchange policy, just state it clearly in the information sheet at check-in
That would be fair and transparent
Later another issue happened
While I was eating at the bar, my towel was lying nearby
Staff simply threw it away
When I asked them to help and bring a new one from reception, they refused again and said “get it yourself”
But it was their mistake
I asked multiple times, but they said it’s not their job
Meanwhile, three bar staff members were standing around doing nothing
No willingness to help at all
This is not how staff should act in a hotel that claims to be five-star
Other downsides
Breakfast is very basic with little variety, same food every day
Beach is not cleaned from seaweed even though rakes and free staff are available
I had to clean my own spot with a net
Staff said “we don’t do anything without a manager’s order”
As a result, the hotel’s beach looks just like the public one next to it
Gym has no air conditioning, it’s hot and stuffy
Handles are removed from windows so you can’t open them
This really needs attention
Other guests we spoke to said the same thing
Nice hotel visually, but nobody wants to come back because of the way staff treats people
To hotel management
Please train your team
People come to relax, not to fight for basic things every day
This is the main reason why guests don’t return
Also consider switching from small plastic shampoo bottles to wall-mounted dispensers
It’s more cost-effective and reduces plastic waste

Housekeeping is excellent
Rooms are cleaned on time, thoroughly and carefully
Clearly a well-managed department
Rooms are spacious and well renovated
Good materials, wood finishes, neatly laid tiles
Location is great — just two minutes from the beach
Conclusion
The hotel has clearly invested in renovation, interiors and landscaping
But the lack of service and staff attitude ruins the experience
Because of this, the hotel is losing returning guests and potential revenue
If the staff treated guests with the level of care expected from a five-star hotel, this place could be truly successful
For now — I do not recommend it

Gebuchte Suite wegen angeblichem Wasserschaden nicht verfügbar, Information erst beim Check-in, Nachlass für normales Zimmer erstaunlich niedrig.
Ausstattung Badezimmer müsste dringend erneuert werden. Es brauchte vier Anläufe bis der Safe funktionierte. Man muss sich organisieren, von ausreichend Handtüchern im Bad bishin zur Ausstattung für Kaffeekocher usw.
Fotos Strand mit Liegen und Sonnenbetten sind veraltet. Liegen sind schmutzig und völlig durchgelegen, Sonnenbetten gibt es gar nicht. Schade, Strandlage ist eigentlich perfekt. 5 Sterne nur für das sehr bemühte und immer sehr freundliche Personal.
Spotlessly clean and well maintained but it is an older- styled place. I would not call it 5-star - there is simply nothing like 5-star service. Reception staff were unhelpful when it came to dealing with problems we had in the room and with getting pool towels. There was almost no other contact with staff during our stay - breakfast is fully self-serve buffet, not even serving tea and coffee (a machine to dispense coffee which was almost undrinkable).
The pool area and beach were nice, but could do without the constant background club music.
The location is out of the way and fairly quiet which was nice.

Lovely hotel.. well kept and very clean. Room extremely comfy, breakfast was exceptional, all that you can imagine was there.. staff was all top (11/10) both at reception, pool area and restaurant always very helpful to see to all your requirements and needs.. as always, not everything can be 19% but some tiny misgivings, like no fixed cushions on sunbeds, no body lotion in bathroom and no proper beach towels. Surely small things to fix. Restaurant food was always very good and reasonable priced. Very much recommended if one wants to have a relaxing and away from it all holiday. An overall 8.5/10.
