We stayed at Hyatt Regency Etoile in Paris with high expectations, hoping to find that balance between Parisian charm and Hyatt-level comfort for our family of four. I was especially relieved to use a Suite Upgrade Award here because most Parisian hotels max out at double occupancy, and trying to fit 2 kids into a standard room would have been tight. Our suite essentially gave us 2 rooms combined, which made such a difference with young children. It allowed us to have our own space separating the adults and the children and actually feel comfortable.
The personalized birthday note congratulating my son when we arrived was genuinely special. He talked about it for days. Those kinds of details, combined with the welcome gifts when we shared that our luggage did not arrive with us on time, showed the staff was paying attention. The lounge access was solid with good offerings, and the concierge and staff answered every question quickly without hesitation. They even lent us strollers, which was huge with young kids. The Eiffel Tower view, albeit a bit off to the side, from the room were beautiful. It made me wish the lounge stayed open later, especially during summer when it's light until 10pm.
We hit a rough patch when our internet went down for hours during a stressful situation with delayed luggage at the airport. The hotel staff addressed it quickly and offered courtesy points without me even asking. That's the kind of service that matters when you're already stressed.
The foul odor in the lobby by the elevator was jarring though. I could tell the hotel knows about it since they've closed off the mall area, but it's still the first thing you encounter walking in. Beyond that, the room was clean and functional but generic. It could've been any Hyatt Regency anywhere in the world, and I wouldn't have known I was in Paris just by looking at the room itself.
Despite those drawbacks, the suite upgrade made our stay practical and comfortable as a family, and the staff's attentiveness really made us feel taken care of. For the value of what we paid versus what we received, Hyatt Regency is a great starting point for a Parisian adventure
Amanda receptionist did a great job welcoming us. Would recommend staying here. Had a great view of the Eiffel tower with a clean room
Blick aus dem Zimmer
Einchecken hat 30 Min gedauert. Schon vorab war das Personal unflexibel und nicht hilfsbereit.
This hotel is well-located as it is close to a metro (you don't even have to walk outside to get there), the RER and the tram. We were able to get to a variety of places around Paris quite quickly. The breakfast buffet is amazing - so much variety and such delicious food. All of the staff are helpful and welcoming. The hotel is clean as are the rooms. The atmosphere is a wonderful mix of American convenience with French charm and elegance.
Schonen Ausblick, gutes Frühstück
Überteuert
Amazing hotel, and the views are the best in Paris. The staff were super and friendly. I would definitely stay again. 5 stars
Conforto e localização!
Very happy with our stay. We were with our one year old baby and it was very comfortable. Tenzin from reception was the first person we spoke to and she was very kind and helpful. The rooms are exactly as shown on photos, very clean and checked regularly. It was so cool to have Eiffel Tower view all the time. We would spend long time on the sofa just enjoying the view. The breakfast at the hotel was one of the best ones we’ve seen so far. There was variety and a lot of fresh options - eggs, salmon, fresh fruits and veggies, different kinds of bread. There is also shopping centre and cinema, so very convenient also. The roof top bar looked fantastic with this incredible view of the city and Eifell Tower. Sadly we couldn’t enjoy this time. The location also is great, as you are 15 minutes walk from Arc de Triomphe, various restaurants, shops and supermarkets nearby. I would definitely recommend and would stay there again.
موقع الفندق جيد
ريحة المصاعد غير جيدة ويستعملون منظفات ريحتها غير مقبولة تشبهة ريحة كريهة
The Hyatt Paris is a beautiful hotel but what makes it really amazing is the staff. They are so helpful, sweet, and answer every question. The neighborhood that the hotel is located in is nice, restaurants, a pharmacy, a small store, are just across the street. There is a good breakfast restaurant, I'm not sure about lunch or dinner since we didn't eat there, we ate at restaurants around the hotel. They have a small coffee shop with croissants and fresh Starbucks coffee, wonderful for first thing in the morning. It was about a 30-minute Uber ride to Note Dame cathedral,, so not bad. Overall I was very impressed with the hotel, the room, the location.
Horrible smell in the lobby. Elevator issue, long wait. Stairwell fire escape locked, so you could not use the stairs and had to go back up and wait for the elevator again and housekeeping vacuum left in front of my room for 3 days. I have stayed there many times. Very disappointed. Not Hyatt caliber. Sorry I told other business friends to stay there.
Wonderful hotel. Very clean and comfortable. Delicious brunch. The concierge was very helpful in regard to tours. Great location
We loved this location. While not a boutique hotel, the accommodations were extremely nice. Lots of business people, airline pilots, flight attendants, Viking cruise staff, etc around but that was fine with us. The location near the train station (5-7 minute walk) was KEY. We navigated getting to all the sites with no issues. We had an amazing view of the Eiffel Tower which were not expecting so it was like a big bonus! We felt had we stayed at a small boutique type hotel we may have been closer to some of the sites, but not nearly as comfortable as we were at the Hyatt since we had two full bathrooms (for 3 adult women) plus very comfy beds!
Excellent, excellent people. Excellent entertainment excellent location very clean. Very nice people surrounded by Restaurant shops everything I recommend you stay there.
Great location and good rooms but disgusting smell for part of my stay. Breakfast experience not as expected due to attitude of chefs. Worst of all, despite unusual smell issues, the hotel did not seems to address the issue for more then 3 days.
Location, easy access to PDC venue
Breakfast
Service to the room, prompt bringing of requests
Mayo mini-market
Functional practical lifts
I realised too late I would have needed an accessible room, as I couldn’t use the bath and shower as they were
The Etoile location is right down the street from the Metro and connected to a Mall. The Lounge is one of my favorites and I have traveled a lot. A view of the Eiffel Tower and wine bar. Great snacks as well. Just finished my second stay there with my elderly Mom and 2 kids and we all enjoyed the amenities and staff.
