Lovely short break though the hotel, food and spa were over-priced. Very handy for Cotswolds.
Pros:

The Hotel is set in a gorgeous historic village with beautiful cottages and flowing streams. The building itself is pretty and the modern annexe, tastefully constructed though rather "dormitory-like". All staff were very friendly and helpful. The food in the restaurant and the pun was very expensive but tasty and well presented.

Cons:

The price for our 2 day stay was very very high in relation the size/quality of the rooms and the buildings. The hotel has no hub and nowhere to just sit and relax. If the weather is rainy, you are a bit stuck for somewhere to hang out and coffee/tea is only available in the pub. Coffee pods and toiletries not replaced each day but reception was great in filling the gap.

Pros:

beautiful location.

Cons:

Very small rooms and we were located in different buildings. But the bathroom was fine. Pub grub excellent. Didn't have breakfast. No atmosphere in the main restaurant so we spited to the pub.

Beautiful location and hotel
Pros:

Great location.

Cons:

One room wasn’t ready at 3pm and reception told him to go and have a drink. Didn’t offer a complimentary one. He didn’t get into the room to just before 4pm and we all had to go out just after 5. Reception said the room was ready earlier but no one told us that. Receptionist did listen to our complaint and discounts the room rate for us.

overpriced for how small the room was.
Pros:

Breakfast was great but an expectation to pay an additional £10 for a hot breakfast which wasn't specified upon booking. The grounds were beautiful by the riverside and location was great.

Cons:

The size of the room was so much smaller than the pictures displayed and what I was expecting vs the price I paid (£250 per night) A premier inn room is bigger, then having to pay additional for a hot breakfast. The wine was served warm and was not chilled at all so please ensure you are chilling your wine this summer for customers when its £15.50 per glass.

Lovely country pub
Pros:

Good sized room - we had a twin and it had a sofa and space to chill
Nice gardens and village
We stayed to go to the farmers dog pub for dinner . We were told don’t walk so got a taxi - however we did walk back and it was fine

Cons:

Shame there is no pavement to the farmers dog pub- part way there is - the council should look to sort that
I can’t fault the old swan and minster mill though
