Staff tried their best to help
Ordered via qr code in bedroom. Terminal not turned on behind bar so order did not go to kitchen
I then emailed my queries as per the instructions on the order recoeved email. Staff did not get that either
Finally went down to bar to ask questions which I did not want to do on my own travelling with dog.
Kitchen now closed, but I got a packet of crisps for my dinner and a glass of wine.
Decent location, close to main roads and shops, nice walk around a pond nearby

The floors are very creaky. The bedroom door didn’t double lock

Leider ist das Hotel wohl in die Jahre gekommen und es hat gemüffelt! Sogar der Schlafanzug!
First time here and will definitely be back. The staff was lovely and the best part was how quiet and peaceful it was.
The location was ok
This is by no means a 4 star hotel. We arrived during the heatwave, we entered our room and they had made no effort to try and cool it. There was a fan in there switched off, no windows open and it was about 40 degrees in there. Hot milk in the sachets, no water. We had to open the window and return later as you could breathe in there. When I returned to reception to active my non working keys I told the man that the room was over seriously hot and he replied with oh yes it’s hot isn’t it.
The bathroom had all black mould on the walls and around the shower. No bags for the bins. The carpets were disgusting. They were so dirty as were the curtains and net curtain.
We went to the bar to get a drink and the girl serving us had absolutely no clue what she was doing. She asked if I wanted my whisky and coke in a half pint or pint glass, when I explained it was meant to go in a whisky glass she had to ask someone what that was.
Breakfast was nice enough, but I kept having to ask for everything as it was run out of bread, sauce, yogurt, juice. No one looking to replace anything.
Over all it was disappointing and I will definitely be looking for better accommodation in Swansea in future. This is a very poor standard for the mercure chain.
There was no air conditioning or control for the heating system. Considering how much I paid for the room I would have expected aircon.
